CHECKMATE

" You are one of a kind, aren't you! " said Kath while she walked near to her.

" What do you want with Max?" asked Rithika.

" Oh, I am not the evil one here, its time to get things straight.

I don't want Rian to be the Alpha .If he becomes one , then he will kill me and Max.

" Why must he kill you both?"

"Because we are the only people who are against him. I need to link you with Rian."

" Kath! Do you hear yourself right now? Link me with Rian equals to impossible."

" Don't take decisions too fast , first hear me out. If you get hurt then he will too, if you die, he dies. So he will not kill you for a while until he breaks the bond . You can be safe until he finds a powerful witch .To break the bond he needs an extremely powerful witch. Most of them are already dead, there are only a few more living and one of that is Hazel. Max will never allow me to do it and that is why things has to be this way. And Hazel explained about the triple walker stuff. You are not powerless Rithika, you can only unleash the power within ,under one emotion.

You have to figure out yourself about which emotion is that. It can be anger, sorrow, extreme delight , depression or anything.

To link you both I need his blood. Rian's blood. You will provide your blood willingly but Rian, he will not. We can't have his blood forcibly , we have to trick him into giving his blood.

That is what we have to do. And yes, we got a plan. I will tell this to Max and release him but slowly. He will never allow to link your life with Rian but we got a checkmate here. Only one single move will work and that move is to link your life with him so that he won't hurt you.

" Your plan is excellent Kath, but did you forget about the fact that , Rian is immortal?"

"Ha, good question. He is immortal until we use the wolfsbane. It will burn him to death."

" You are well planned, aren't you! If you burn him with wolfsbane then what about me, I will get burned too. Therefore I will not allow you to link me with him, see, your plan is a failure Katherina Aldrich."

" Rithika Ramakrishnan, use your tongue wisely in front of a vampire. My plan is not a failure. Wolfsbane burn werewolves to death but ingestion of wolfsbane can only cause paralysis in humans, which means , a side of the body will not move in a life time. "

"First of all I know what paralysis is and I will still not allow you to do this to me. I will never allow you to paralyze me with my consent. Your plan is still a failure. " said Rithika arrogantly.

" You will not be paralysed." said Kath.

" What? " asked Rithika who was totally shocked and puzzled.

" Wolfsbane does not harm vampires, so you are safe." said Kath.

" No, no, no Kath. You don't even think about it!"

Before Rithika could finish, Kath flew near to her and bit straight through her neck with her pointed fangs.

Rithika fell down unconsciously with blood dripping from her neck.

" Problem solved, you are a vampire now!" said Kath with a smirk.
