THE BEGINNING PART 2

No one even noticed that Hitori was coming to class, just as usual. While everyone was talking to each other while looking at their phones, Hitori walked past people without anyone noticing him and took a seat in the left corner.

He took out his phone and opened a game called "Dragon Rusha . He didn't have any friends in online games either, as he hadn't played any of the popular games like Legy of Legynds, Impact of Shingen, or Gunter Stripe.

The only games Hitori liked were the little-known underrated MMORPGs that allowed him to escape from the real world. He had tried many times to socialize with people in those games through texts before, but was kicked out of all alliances he joined, mostly due to in-game dramas that he himself involved. That's why he was just doing daily and casual events and never speaking in alliance chat. He laughed to himself, this adventure of games, which he started to get away from real-world problems, was in no way different from the real world. It was just that everything was virtual and he could take on any personality he wanted, that's all...

Just as Hitori was thinking these things, the bell rang and the class teacher came to the classroom, Hitori and all the students in the class immediately threw the phone in their bags so that the teacher wouldn't take it (it is not allowed in highschool) and everyone stood up.

The class teacher, whose name is Kurasu Noteki, waited for a few seconds and then began to speak:

"I'm changing your desk positions in the classroom."

As soon as the teacher said this, the students began to grumble.

The teacher clapped his hands together to keep the students quiet.

"Quiet please! As I noticed, in the current desks, the students can't concentrate on the lesson because they are talking to each other or secretly sleeeping at the back of the class, as the teacher of the class I cannot allow such thing! Hashiro, bring me the desk position list and the attendance sheet!"

With a bored expression, Hashiro handed the list to the teacher, the teacher erased all the names from the list and began to write the school numbers of random students in the places on the list. Then he took the paper and hung it on the classroom board:

"Come on now, take your seat."

Just as Hashiro was about to take her seat, she looked to her right and saw Hitori. She felt unlucky to be with that boy in PE class, but she didn't show her emotions.

Meanwhile, Hitori slowly looked at Hashiro at first, then turned around, and saw couple boys behind him staring at Hitori's desk with envy. With seeing this, Hitori was worried. Because sitting next to Hashiro, the president, the most confident and athletic girl in the class, people would have stand near him to talk with her, and he wasn't happy about it. Hitori wanted to be unrecognized. Not people to look at him with envy because of his current position. He didn't really care about these desk positions, no matter who he was sitting with, he wouldn't be able to speak a word to the person next to him even if he wanted to, it wouldnt matter. High school could only be summed up in three words to Hitori:

Current Objective: Survive

Hitori watched from afar Hashiro talking to her friends or people who had asked for her help every time the bell rang . Hitori was impressed how helpful and confident she was.

"Excuse me Hashiro-san, I was just going to ask something..."

"What is it Asu?"

"This break, can I please have the key for the ball locker? I'm going to train again to join the football club, as I mentioned before, i really want to join that club. Also i want to surprise my girlfriend, you know..."

"Ahh, i see. Sure thing, Asu, but don't forget to bring the key before the bell rings," she said softly.

"OK thanks!"

As Asu Rito ran out of the classroom, Hitori watched from afar, wishing to be in that man's shoes, not because he's interested in sports, but because he has a goal that can be reached and there are people who support it.

Saddened by this, the image of the classroom and the voices of the people slowly faded away from Hitori. Hitori was spaced out.

He thought about all his hobbies and talents that he couldn't tell anyone about and eventually gave up. They were really a lot, but there was no one to show it to, so he had given it all up. And now, he didn't have any specialties other than getting high grades in classes.

More than feeling sad, he felt numb, empty. The emptiness of not being able to achieve anything, not making friends, not having people who supports him...

After thinking about all this, a few tear fell from Hitori's eyes and the sight of the classroom and the voices of the people came back to Hitori. It was then that he noticed Hashiro looking at him with a confused expression like she is trying to understand what is going on, their eyes met, and Hitori turned his head in embarrassment.

Then Hitori immediately wrote "I'm okay, i just dont feel very well and spaced out. Sorry for bothering." to a paper he teared from his notebook and gave it to Hashiro.

"O-oh i see, if you feel worse tell me so i can take you to infirmary, ok?"

Meanwhile, Hashiro was trying to understand Hitori. That guy obviously looked sad and Hashiro was aware that he was watching her talking with people. But Hitori wasn't even talking with her at all, and she wanted to understand why Hitori was acting like this.

Hitori obviously had a problem and Hashiro was wondering what it was...
