The Test (3)

Draconic pride. That was what was stopping Kaler from conceding. That's what was not allowing him to ever kneel to anyone again. The pride of a dragon, it was powerful, but if not properly handled, could lead to one's downfall.

Kaler eyed the headmaster with bright gold fury taking over his vision. He was losing part of himself. However, he was ok with it, if it meant that he would be victorious. He could not lose this match. He must pass this test.

Meanwhile, everyone else was practically scared shitless of this man. To basically survive magic capable of levelling skyscrapers was nothing short of impressive. To walk away with only a bit of bleeding and scarring, that was unheard of.

Even the headmaster was getting exhausted, and he was running out of time too. Kaler knew this, and decided to keep pushing forward. 'The old man is tough, but we are stronger. Lift part of the limiter. I need this strength.' Kaler communicated telepathically to his avatars.
