Chapter 7: Planning to build a greatest settlement
MC's POV
After exiting the house we saw dad wearing a backpack, beside him is aunt chris and they are now walking towards the house and behind them you can see different kind of vegetables and trees with fruits hanging like mangoes, apples, orange, watermelons and many more .
As i appreciate the crops i have planted my dad and aunt arrived.
Edmond: hi son how are?im surprised to see you outside you den haha.
Christine : hahaha your father is right James, usually you're in the basement working in your project about the new energy generator.
James :about that, I've already finished it although its only a prototype it can still provide energy to the whole settlement with ten houses.
Claire : still were proud of you son. You've created something amazing that no one in the Commonwealth can.
James : thanks mom.

Christine : group hug.
Dad and aunt join in and hug us.

After the warm hugs we decided head inside an set in the living room sofa chair .
James : so dad are you able to trade the guns?
Edmond : yup all of the 20 revolver, 15 AK47,16 FN SCAR, 10 scopes, and i also traded all of the purified waters we stocked for a lot of caps. Apparently according to Johnson our products are a hot commodities and always gets sold and our weapon brand is already famous.
James : thats a great news dad with this we can earn more caps.
Edmond : We can star selling in higher quantities and we can also star selling some of the HK-21, BARRETT M95.
James : your right but let sell the HK-21, BARRETT M95 in low quantity....there also another importat thing i need to tell you guys.
Christine :what is it nephew?
James: it's about our future plan. I plan to build a settlement.
Edmond : a settlement?
James : no not just a settlement .... A City.. I want to build a city... A clean and secured City with people that can fell safe and well feed... A City with Proper Order.
Edmond: hmm a city huh.... How did you come up with this plan?
James : You know that i have this amazing power that can povide safety, foods, equipment and many more inside Babylon... Since i have this kind of power why not build a safe heaven outside the Babylon for the people that needed it... Maybe I've been given this power to cure and recreate this world.
Edmond : I understand son. We're here to support you in any path you choices.
Claire :your dad is right son, we're always here for you.
Christine: you can always rely us little james any thing you need.
James : thank you guys, I'm glad that you're he with me.
Edmond:what do we do now?
James: well first I'm going to buy some worker drones that will help us build things outside the Babylon . Then i plan to build a concrete wall around us and a 5 storey apartment type building for our settlers to sleep in....i also plan to build a training ground as i plan for all of our settlers to have a basic fighting skills.
Edmond :thats a great start, we can build a Recruitment Radio Beacon and also ask Johnsons to spread the word about our settlement.
Christine :You can count on me in training the settlers i can shape them into well trained soldiers in no time.
Claire : I'm knowledgeable in medicine so i can be the doctor i can also make some stimpack, and RadX... . James sweetie can you also build a clinic for me?
James : no problem mom i can we also need to build an Hospital you can be the head doctor there you can also teach some settlers who's interested in becoming a doctor.
~1 day after ~
Im currently outside Babylon, checking the surrounding of our house, i can see ruined house, broken cars on the road and alot of rubble.
I need to clean this place first before i can build things here.
James: Jennifer are you there?

James : I need to buy 20 working drones and some building equipments
[No problem host that would be 120,000 caps.

James : Wow so expensive, i should have just build it my self, oh well at least now i can start building things, beside we have lots of caps that we saved from trading weapons and waters adding the 75k caps i have my inventory, We have a total of over 800k caps....Proceed transaction.

20 worker drones appear in front of and behind them are some equipment...
I star ordering them.10 drones will be building wall... 5 drones will be building 2 5-storey apartments ech floor have 10 rooms, and every room can house a 4 member family ,... 3 drones are in charge of building the Hospital.... and the last 2 drones are in charge of building the training grounds.
After i finish ordering they start doing their job.while i need to build a Recruitment Radio Beacon.
~three months after~
Im currently infront of the finished appartments. For three months the drones never stop building, one of their advantages as they don't need to eat or rest and because of the they finally finish the Hospital, 2 apartments and the training ground, i also ordered the drones to demolish the old house that we were using and rebuild a new and better on... The hospital is clean and completely with tools and supplies, i also bought some modern medicine and can now heal any patient ,by the way i put my mom in charge of the hospital....the apartment is fully furnished complete with every thing and every room have their own toilet...as for the wall it's only 85% completely as i want it to cover a wide be area as I want to build a big settlement and the wall is also 10 meters tall concrete wall and 1 meter wide, it's scheduled to be finish in 5 days as all of the as i assign all of the drone in building it....you might also notice that there's two gates, a large gate and a small gate. You see my plan is after the settlers and tourist enter the fist gate they will see two registration building inside one for merchants and the other is for tourist and settlers , only after they're finish the registration can they enter the second gate.
In these three months i was also able to make security androids and some improved heavy laser and missile turrets made out of titanium X(titanium X is an improved titanium I've created, its more durable and more light weight than the regular titanium, normal bullets will just bounce back after hitting them) ,... . The security androids are 2 meters tall, have a basic AI, with built-in laser machine gun in their arms and a missile launcher on their back which can fire 20 missiles, they are also impossible to hack and only follow my and my family's order, the must impotatnt of all they are powered by the arc reactor, of course I've hidden the reactors inside them as i don't want my enemy to destroy paralyze my droid by just shooting their exposed reactor.
The heavy laser and missile turrets are also made of Titanium X I've improved them alot, now they have auto-lock targets with high possession and they are also powered by arc reactors... I have mounted them on the wall and i also put some on top of the towers the drones have created.
James : Jenn can you show me my ability?

As i was wondering infront my the apartment my father called for me.
Edmond : hey son, what's you doing?
James : nothing dad, i was just thinking of something.
Edmond :thinking about what son?
James : i was thinking about building a cafeteria, stores, and i was also thinking about building a secret underground base beneath the settlement.
Edmond : what's the underground base for.
James : well.. i plan to put security cameras around our settlement, the monitoring room and other secret facilities will be put inside the underground base.
Edmond :hmm.. That's a great plan...
James : Where's aunt Christine and mom?
Edmond : your aunt is currently training the new recruits in the shooting range. And your mom is teaching the twins as they want to be a doctor.
Thats right we recently accepted 20 settlers.
16 adults, and 4 children. They were planning to build a small settlement not far from here but father saw them and try to recruit them, at first they're hesitant but after learning that our settlement are surrounded by 4 meters tall wall with turrets and that won't be worrying about foods they accept... The twins that my father mentioned is Merry and Jeanne they want to be a doctor thats why mom is teaching them.
