I Didn't Think You Would Believe Me, Sir

Ava fell to her knees, reopening the wounds from this morning, as she stared straight ahead at a loss. She snapped out of her stupor when she saw one of the security guards on the floor out of the corner of her eye.

"Wake up, please," she begged as she scrambled forward on all fours to shake them.

The knocked out security guards wouldn't wake up no matter how hard she tried but they were still breathing. She didn't know what exactly Zeldris had done to them but, if they truly had been electrocuted, they probably needed to go to the hospital.

She called 911 and vaguely explained that two of her coworkers had passed out and might have possibly been electrocuted. An ambulance showed up eighteen minutes later and took the two of them away.

Unfortunately for her, the commotion was happening right as a client walked in. And it was so loud that Mr. Roland, one of her bosses, came out of his office to see what was going on.
