Saved but didn't reconciled

Ten hours earlier, in the early morning hours when it's still dark, someone knocked on the door where Theodore and Maximus were staying. That knock didn't disturb Maximus's deep sleep, but Theodore who's always on the edge these days, mainly after knowing that his secrets were getting out of him. He couldn't maintain this facade any longer and he wondered what would be his fate.

Theodore opened the door to see a familiar face, Nathan. He's a helper and often takes messages to all parts of the Kingdom.

"What brings you here, Nathan?" Theodore asks and closes the door as he didn't want to disturb Maximus.

"Your Majesty, Mrs. Fareham wanted me to give this letter to you," he handed the letter that Nina had written for him.

"From home," Theodore frowns, wondering if there could be a problem. That's the last thing he wants at this time as his mind is overflowing with worries.

"She told me this is a very important message," Nathan added.
