Nina came out of her room to search for Theodore. Last night she slept before his arrival. When she woke up the next morning, he wasn't beside her. Instead of searching for him, she took a bath, dressed up hoping he would come and meet her. But his absence made her frown; He had never been like this before, he wouldn't go anywhere without telling her so she made her way out to search for him. Sylvia greeted her while she was helping Mrs. Fareham in the kitchen.

"Do you know where he went?" Nina questions.

"He's outside," Sylvia said with a grin.

"Why do you all look happy today?" She asks, watching the smile on everyone's faces.

"Don't you know? The war is halted, and everyone's assuming it's over and today there's a festival in the town for the emperor," Mrs. Fareham answered.

Nina nodded. She wondered why Theodore hadn't said that good news to her and she was surprised to know the King had returned safely.
