Things Not Known
Soon Ariene found the lady in the garden and walked to her, the lady upon seeing became extremely happy and surprised at the same time.
"My child! you are out? but how? perhaps Master did eventually brought you out..... So glad he did. " The old lady said with happiness while Ariene could not help but smile at her.
"Mam....Master did not do a thing like that! " Ariene said causing the old lady to raise an eyebrow, " Yes ! You know he wouldn't do a thing like that, I'm sure you know too. I got attacked again b....."
"What!!!" the old lady half screamed cutting through Ariene's words and began to examine her body but her brows knitted together in confusion as she still kept checking her body for marks but didn't see any.
"Mam.....why? what is wrong?" Ariene asked seeing the look on the old lady's face.
"It's nothing but why do i not see any marks on your body? not even the old ones! " The old lady asked .
"That's why i came rushing to you Mam..... I was saved by Master's brother...." Ariene said and stopped seeing how shocked the old lady was, " When i woke up, i was already in his place and begged him to bring me back to Master, i didn't know they were brothers and were at biff with each other" Ariene said truthfully.
"Did he come here? " The old lady asked still in shock and Ariene nodded in response. " I guess both brothers didn't fight like they used to" she muttered to herself.
"Uhmm.....what did you say Mam?" Ariene asked as she wasn't able to understand a thing the old lady said.
"Nothing child... Kian must have applied some ointment on you whilst you were asleep but"..... the old looked at Ariene " I'm curious as to why he left you unharmed and even brought you here knowing fully well you belong to his Brother." She said with a sigh.
" Mam...you talk like he is evil or wicked! i do see anything wrong with him " Ariene said while frowning slightly.
"Child you do not know the devil you have just encountered !" The old lady said inwardly while staring at Ariene.
