Chapter 2

King Abu gathers his army(trijans) around, charging them to war against the five kingdoms out of the eight kingdoms of the whole nation who refused to surrender themselves.

"It is time to destroy and take over those who mocked me. How dare they mock me king Abu the only true king. No other king like King Abu, the son of Zazau, the only mighty one, the only power King alive!. Who dares to stand my way. I am feared by all I am the greatest that ever lived No one is greater than me I am the one Who is in charge of The whole universe haha and they dare to mock me King Abu. We go now and take revenge" king Abu said charging the army.

"YES" they all roar back.

Awal the commander of the army leads his fearless and powerful army out of their city gate, marching into the region leading to the kingdoms he intends to conquer.

The sound of the huffing of the horses and the loud chanting of the trijan soldiers could be heard miles away, creating fear and panic amongst his enemies. Meanwhile, just a few meters away into the city gate of one of their enemies, some children were running around playing warrior games when they heard galloping sounds and the continuous vibration on the ground.

"Ndu can you hear that it sounds like horses and not one but like thousands of them" the first boy said looking at the others.

"We have to warn the soldiers I think it's The trijans they have arrived" Ndu said running into the village with the other boys behind him.

"Hey where you are boys running to, have you not been warned not to play around this mountain because of the impending danger?" Said one of the guards watching over the city gate.

"The trijans they are coming" Ndu said out of breath

"Go now, run, go and hide " the soldier said blowing a horn to alert the others.

The soldiers took up their weapons and set the battle in array against the all powerful king Abu's soldier lead by Awal the commander.

The women and children were gathered in place prepared for hiding in the case of war.

The Trijans over powered the guards at the entrance of the city and broke into the city, bringing down all the fortified walls and gates. Fully loaded with their horses and weapons, they attacked the entire city, shooting their arrows on the soldiers. They come down from their horses and use their swords and they slaughtered every living being in sight.

Meanwhile the women and children in hide, have seen what has become of their people, everyone has been slaughtered by Awal and the Trijans. They knew immediately that if they don't look for an escape route, they might be next as the Trijans might seek them out from their hiding place.

"We have to protect our children" a woman said.

"There is no escape route we just have to surrender in other not to be killed" another said

"Where is Ndu?" One said yelling

"He went to look for his father" a young boy said.

Ndu ran towards where the war was taking place a thousand of their men had already been slaughtered. Ndu found the lifeless body of his beloved father brutally murdered with the other bodies.

"Father" he yelled holding onto the body he cried.

They trijans took Ndu and captured the women and the children through him. They take over their kingdom and carted away their belongings, goods and livestock.

Then they move to the next region and they shot the men on the spot with their bow and arrows. The men in this region were not as skilled in war as the previous so it was easy for the trijans to kill them. They looted the town, set it ablaze and captured the women and children as slaves.

They move onto the next region and as they were marching and chanting on their way, they sight their soldiers galloping towards them with arrows and swords drawn in readiness for battle. The trijans didn't need to get into their city as the battle was fought near the city gate. The battle was fierce but the trijans over powered them because they were more skilled in war. It was not an easy win but they made it through. Awal was infuriated at the strength of this soldiers because he lost a good number of his army, he marched into the city, ordered his army to kill every living thing. Women and children, livestock. In fact he did that as revenge for killing some of his army. This will be the first kingdom he will kill women and children including livestock because this is against the law of the Nation. Women and children were never to be killed but taken as slaves.

News quickly reach king Abu of how the trijans have already taken over three kingdoms with ease.

"Your highness the trijans have taken over three kingdoms, their women and children have also been captured and their belongings and goods as well. All their lands now belong to you " said the informant.

Meanwhile, Awal had ordered his army to do a detour and head back to their kingdom as they need to recuperate, gather more weapons and more soldiers as he lost some in battle and few were also wounded..

Awal and the Trijans arrived and stood before king Abu who was already waiting to receive the brave soldiers and congratulate for a job well done so far.

"How magnificent with ease I have taken over their land. I warned them but they mocked me instead and even thought that they could take down my mighty army" King Abu said laughing,

Awal joins him as well as his elders.

" That's enough" He said. There was immediate silence

"Soon it will all be mine and I will be the ruler of the world". King Abu let out a loud voice in laughter.

"Please drink, eat and be merry, for in the next couple of days you will be setting out to conquer the remaining kingdoms in the regions" said king Abu as he pats Awal on the shoulder.

After a week resting of his army,

Awal marched his brave and fearless army again into the remaining regions. As the trijans approach the fourth regions, the soldiers of this region had already laid ambush waiting for them. They hid themselves outside the palace walls with their skilled archers on the mountain top surrounding the palace. As soon as they sighted the trijans approaching their palace walls, they use a special like flute that spits out poisonous substances on the trijans and their horses. This immediately crippled the horses and the riders. so they got down from their ambush and attacked the Trijans. The minute Awal noticed that their enemies skilled archers were attacking from the mountain surrounding the palace, he immediately called some of his soldiers and gave them instructions on how to climb up to the mountain on fours without being noticed and attack the archers. That was how the Trijans were able to defeat their enemy. The charged into the city, burnt down the entire kingdom, seized their goods, livestock and took the women and children as slaves.
