A NEW NORM
Derek ordered a lot of white flowers (precisely white orchids) to be used in decorating Special's room before she wakes up. He was still overwhelmed with being her first and wanted to express his love to her in a unique way. The night was beautiful and memorable to him.
The next morning as his desires was, the stewards executed his plans flawlessly not disturbing the Queen as she slept. They arranged the flowers in vases and brown baskets. One would think it was a room suited for a bridal shower ceremony.
Special woke up later than expected to see a whole new room decorated to stupor with flowers, boxes of presents, packs of chocolates and a beautiful cake.
She was flustered immediately, wondering the reason for all the gifts.
Derek, watching her from the large couch in the room, where he sat mzhtsaw her standing up gently from the bed.
With the speed of light, he dashed towards her, assisting her in standing up as she winced. Obviously because of the soreness between her thighs.
"Why all these gifts?"she asked him "They are so much. Besides are we celebrating something between us? it's my father's birthday not mine. He should be the one getting all the gifts" She continued.
"That's not exactly true" he said. "I just wanted to celebrate you and I want to let you know that you are indeed your name. You are Special indeed. Last night was one of the best in my entire life.I can't wait to tell your father that I would like a beautiful ceremony to express my love to you right here in this resort. I know we began this just as a charade. A way of escape so that you are not bullied by your step mom at this event but it's beyond helping you out right now. I truly love you my Queen and I want to spend the rest of my life being your husband and your king."
These words moved her emotionally.
Special wrapped arms around him immediately to stop the sound of a sob. As she was about to break down in tears. Derek has proven to be her hero in all forms and he genuinely loves her.
She couldn't hold back herself from crying again as she sobbed gently.
After their morning routine which consisted of taking their bath together, making out while sponging one another. Dressing up together in her room, they had their breakfast together and privately. Special decided that she would be the one to tell her father of the need for a ceremony to signify their marriage. The king gladly obliged. He knew he could do anything for this woman.
He also told her that after the ceremony, he would inform the public of the King's new status.
Special caller her Father on the phone and he agreed that she meets him at the suite later in the day. King Derek instructed Uyi to get the best and most exquisite wedding planner who would bring all his dreams and desires to life. He wanted to give Special a grand ceremony.
To make Special more comfortable, the king invited Toju, Mrs Lola, Felicia her grandmother and Uwa for lunch with the Queen. They spent the afternoon talking laughing and chatting with the Queen. Suddenly a knock sounded on the door and Adesua the steward opened it.
She moved to the Queen to inform her that Hope wanted a moment with the Queen.
"Please do tell her I am busy, I will see her later" Special said absentmindedly as she was busy enjoying her mother's company. Adesua relayed the message and slammed the door in front of her.
Out side the suite, Hope felt embarrassed again.
