Plot Thickens...

On a bright sunny day, in a beautifully decorated garden full of flowers and greenery, a youth was sitting on a bench while flashing a dazzling that showed all his white teeth.

His hair color was auburn and his eyes were brown. Anyone, even with a small brain could easily find some connections between this youth and Princess Seraphina of Lipon Kingdom.

This youth was Adam, the big brother of Seraphina, 20 years old. He was 1.9 meters tall with a lean and thin built and handsome face.

His muscles weren't well-defined and if compared to Noah he would look like a tall pole.

Ares was about to enter the garden to exchange pleasantries with this 'idiot' when she felt a hand on her shoulders.

She turned around to look back and saw Noah.

Her heart started beating rapidly because she could feel his emotions of love and care for her and hate towards that man sitting on the bench.

But she forcefully stopped herself from losing herself in that sea of emotions and asked in a sweet voice "What is it, brother?"

Noah didn't reply and snapped his fingers, dying the color of his eyes and hair to black.

He pulled out a fake mustache and beard from his storage ring and put it upon himself.

"I'll be your personal bodyguard," He said in a confident and determined tone leaving no room for negotiations.

The 'heart signs' in Ares's eyes reappeared, she didn't know why Noah wanted to act like this, After all, no idiot would do something to the Princess of the Empire in her own Palace but she nodded nonetheless with a cute smile on her face.

Noah also knew that Ares won't be in any harm but he still had some speculations that he wanted to confirm.

A man came out of the room with a nervous expression, but it was quickly replaced with greed and green 'dollar signs' could be seen shining in his eyes.

The young man named Adam, instinctively flashed a smile which caused both Ares and Noah to squint their eyes into needlepoints and divert their gaze somewhere else to not get blinded by this sudden 'flashbang'.

Noah was sure, if this was a game from other technologically advanced planets, Adam would've one-shotted both Ares and him.

Such amazing timing for a 'flashbang' just before enemies show up close enough was perfect and impeccable in Noah's eyes.

Ares's face turned into one of disgust and repulsion from Adam instinctively.

Her womanly instincts were screaming 'Stay Away From This Guy!'.

She still forced a smile and moved towards Adam.

For a moment Adam completely forgot the existence of Noah, and his eyes were only focused on Ares, but then he regained some clarity and looked to the man in black hair, black eyes, a mustache, and a beard following 'his love' and he wrinkled his brows slightly.

Yup, It was love at first sight.

"Princess Ares is as stunning and gorgeous as the rumors say" Adam flashed another smile but this time both Ares and Noah were prepared to learn from their previous mistake, they both pretended to 'blink' before Adam's mouth curved up into a smile with phenomenal timing which may even cause professional gamers to stare at this scene with wide eyes.

"You flatter me too much Prince Adam" Ares forced a smile.

"Please have a seat, Ares" Adam invited her to have a seat beside him on the bench he was sitting on.

Ares's eyelids twitched at the familiarity with which Adam spoke her name, not addressing her as 'princess' or 'her highness' made her almost puke on the face of this man.

Ares sat as far as possible and Noah just stood behind the bench as a proper guard would.

"Are we going to ignore the fact that this person may eavesdrop on our private conversation?" asked Adam with a frown on his face.

He did not wish to have a 'servant' interrupt their private time.

"Hmm?" Ares tilted her head cutely "He is my br-bodyguard"

"Don't worry Prince Adam, he is loyal and trustworthy. After all, he has taken an oath in the name of the Divine Goddess'. He won't say anything as long as I don't want him to"

"Really?" asked Adam while moving his eyes towards this 'bodyguard'.

"Take an oath in the name of Divine Goddess right here and now!" Adam ordered.

Ares hesitated a little...

But-

"I take an oath in the name of Divine Goddess that I will carry your conversation with Princess Ares to my grave..."

Instantly a worldly pressure erupted out of nowhere and surrounded Noah's soul.

Ethereal golden chains tried to encompass his soul in an attempt to keep this oath valid as long as the two parties making the oath lives...

But-

Noah just snorted and released a sliver of merciless Saber Intent around his soul cutting apart the ethereal golden chains into smithereens.

'Heh, such childish tricks' Noah laughed coldly in his heart.
