Sunrise

"SILIA!"

King Abbott's voice resounded through the entire throne room as his SSS-rank aura was released putting pressure on all four people.

Silia stopped in her tracks and only then did she remember she was going to attack the Prince of Delos Empire and she along with her entire family will have to face the consequences of such a grave crime.

Silia looked at Noah who had a smirk as if he expected this to happen. Noah knew no matter how arrogant Abbott was, he still never provoked a calamity that will surely lead him to his grave. Which made him wonder, where is Abbott's confidence coming from about the rebellion? Does the power behind him is so huge? Unfathomable?

"Prince Noah, we have enough evidence to prove that you are not involved in any activities which caused distress in the Trynis city, furthermore, the recording that you showed also verifies your claims of you not forcing yourself upon Silia. Since this matter is close I ask you to leave, as I have other matters to deal with." King Abbott had an ugly look while saying this.

"I understand," Noah said, turning to face Silia who grudgingly put her sword back in her storage ring.

"I would like to meet miss Eula if possible" Noah said with a smirk.

"..." Everyone had a neutral expression, as it was common for nobles to try mingling with each other.

But-

Silia flinched upon hearing this. She knew what kind of person Noah was from her memories. Even now, without [Charm] she felt a strange feeling of excitement and giddiness, just thinking about something so debauched caused her entire body to tremble.

"She is not in Trynis city and we don't know how much time it will take for her to come back," Caleb said with a forced smile. How could he let his woman meet Noah, the person who cucked his father-in-law? Never!

Noah nodded with a smile that was not a smile. Turned around and left.

.....

Noah entered his room and saw Ares playing with her [Energy] creations as Valentina gave her tips. Wait, 'His room'?

Valentina glanced at Noah and stopped immediately, as she asked:

"Noah, I hope you do remember about the talk?"

"Of course mother, Hmm...Let's go on a date and I will explain things on the way..." Noah displayed a small smile.

"What about Ares?" Valentina had a concerned look. Although she is strong, yet it will take a lot of time for her to create counter-measures if she wishes to protect people near her. Also, her techniques are undeveloped.

"Don't worry!" Noah extended his hand in a knightly and poised manner as he approached Valentina. Valentina trusted Noah very much and she also knew Noah was a monster in disguise. She could only have faith in him and leave Ares's protection in his hands.

"Ares, you stay here, your brother and I have some things to talk about..."

"Mn" Ares had no issues if Valentina was with Noah. She respected her mother very much and rarely went against her.

Valentina stomped her foot over Noah's shoes as she said in a strict tone "We are going on a WALK!"

"Ouch! Ok! Ok, Walk it is!" Noah raised his hands in defeat!

....

Sometime later, Valentina and Noah were walking on the streets of Trynis city. Noah tried to grab Valentina's hand several times but failed as usual.

"Mother you are so stiff, how could you get a boyfriend?" Noah shook his head in disappointment as if he was pitying Valentina's future boyfriend.

"Boyfriend? I am married!" She rolled her eyes at Noah's shameless attempts to flirt with her.

"Sigh~" Noah sighed heavily as he looked around to find something interesting. He lead her to a store that was selling fruit juice.

With the [Evolution of World], and assimilation of mana in Earth's atmosphere, many plants evolved as well. Some even gained sentience and their species evolved. Many exotic delicacies were born from such evolved species.

Valentina followed closely behind Noah who was ordering something. Valentina saw the flustered look of the woman on the counter.

"Tsk" The woman was charmed by her handsome son and Valentina couldn't help click her tongue in annoyance.

The woman glanced at Valentina, and she was surprised to find such a beauty behind this handsome and charming man. Common people never get to meet royalty. The woman didn't realize who these people were since it was Trynis city, not Delta city where Noah would roam on the streets and get recognized by every citizen.

A few minutes later, she brought out a glass of blood-red colored juice with 2 straws in it just like Noah ordered!

"Juice made from the leaves of BloodyVynas. It is sweet and slightly bitter. Perfect for a refreshing start in the morning for a perfect couple!" The woman handed the glass to Noah with a genuine smile as Noah gave a thumbs up to the woman at the counter.

"Huuh?" Valentina tilted her head in confusion, she looked towards Noah who was smiling mischievously, and then towards the glass with two straws then at the woman, who was still flustered because Noah touched her fingers slightly when he took the glass from her hand.

Valentina couldn't kill Noah for his shameless behavior because he was her son whom she loved very much but she was already annoyed by this woman in front of her.

"[Kryosis]" Valentina snapped her fingers as thick strands of [Anti-Energy] started covering the woman...

"Sigh~" Noah sighed again. For some reason, he was sighing a lot today.

"[Intent]" Noah's [Saber Intent] cut the strands of [Anti-Energy] into smithereens. Even though Valentina was powerful, she was still a newborn in Noah's eyes. Her techniques were incomplete and full of flaws in his experienced eyes.

The woman didn't know what happened. She neither saw the [Anti-Energy] nor Noah's [Saber Intent] cutting through it to protect her. It all happened in a split second and it was impossible for low-level cultivators like her to see anything.

"Mother, you can't kill people just because they say things that you don't like." Although Noah said this, yet he knew Valentina won't change no matter what.

"M-mother?" Only now did the woman at the counter realize her blunder but then she thought why did Noah order a single glass with two straws? Isn't it what lovers or couples do? But she didn't get to ask questions to satisfy her curiosity as Noah grabbed Valentina by her waist and took a step forward vanishing from the store completely along with Valentina leaving behind a few mana crystals as payment.

.....

Noah along with Valentina appeared on a very high mountain. Sweet breeze hit their face as their hair danced with the wind. Noah let go of Valentina's waist and sat on the cliff as he gestured for her to do the same.

It was still early morning and the Sun has not yet risen from his deep slumber.

Valentina didn't question much as she sat beside Noah while looking at the horizon.

"Beautiful..." Valentina displayed a small smile as she looked at clouds that enveloped the sky like a blanket and various gigantic evolved birds fighting in those clouds.

Some were diving straight into the forest below to hunt their prey and some were just flying peacefully completely unbothered by the havoc around them.

Noah took a sip of BloodVynas and gestured for Valentina to take a sip as well.

Valentina looked at Noah as if she was looking at an alien. How can my son be so shameless? Valentina showed a middle finger to Noah.

"Sigh~" Noah was sighing a lot.

"You are still so young in the matters of heart mother." Noah displayed a small smile which held many meanings for Valentina,

But-

She retorted "Young? My son, who is not even half my age is going to teach me about 'love'?"

"Just like cultivation, physical age is a myth mother" Noah spoke as he turned around to see the sunrise while slurping his juice. He finished the juice and destroyed the glass into shreds.

"What do you mean?" Valentina was intrigued.

"[Soul]" Noah replied simply without hiding anything.

"Soul huh?" Valentina glanced at the horizon as she tries to remember her transformation which happened yesterday. Then it struck her, her [Soul] was shredded to bits and a new [Soul] was formed made up of [Energy]. Her instincts told her to follow the path of [Immortality] in which she will have to give up on the path of cultivation, give up her body, and give up her soul.

So she did.

Her [Soul] transformed to a mass of [Energy] which carried her consciousness instead of a [Mortal Soul] which would leave her body once her lifespan comes to an end, carrying away her [Soul] to the 'yellow river' for cleansing.

Her body transformed to a mass of [Energy] and she became a unique [Energy]-being, whose body and [Soul] are entirely made up of [Energy]. Noah already sensed the changes in Valentina as he was very close to her from the beginning to the end of her transformation. Noah knew, as long as there is [Energy], which is impossible to not have in this vast universe, Valentina would remain alive as her consciousness remains in [Energy]. Noah also guessed that killing Valentina is almost impossible, even for someone like him. Valentina was a unique [Immortal] and she doesn't follow the laws of Reincarnation as well like most [Immortals]

"What about your [Soul]?" Valentina asked curiously.

"Haha~...Really?" Noah chuckled and looked at Valentina who was still glaring at him.

Noah shook his head "Sigh~ I don't remember exactly. Maybe 500000 years, 1000000 years, I don't remember... It was a very long time ago."

Valentina's body trembled upon hearing that her son was probably someone much older than her...

"Reincarnation!" Noah had no intentions of hiding anything from Valentina.

Valentina looked at Noah with eyes wide open, as wide as saucers.

"Y-you mean-" She was cut short by Noah as he added while holding her hand tenderly with affection as he gestured her to look towards the horizon.

"What matters is we should follow our heart mother!"

Valentina forgot about useless thoughts when Noah called her mother with the same affection he always used to call her with...nothing else mattered to her at this moment as they watched the beautiful scenery before them.

They watched the glory that brings the day, blazing in gold and quenching in purple. A ribbon at a time and the breeze accompanied with hushed fingers on the birches as the landscape marched westward mile on mile.

'Follow the heart huh?'
