Side Story 1: Dangerous Addiction (1)

THIRD-PERSON POINT OF VIEW:

It was a chilly night but Rain was only in his boxers as he smoked on the balcony of his condo unit. Standing on the balcony with a cigarette in his hand, Rain scrolled through his phone as he puffed a smoke.

'That's a pretty smile he's wearing,' he thought as he stared at July's photo with his girlfriend next to him.

"It's about time I stop all this," he mumbled to himself and smiled as he puffed another smoke.

Rain put out the cigarette as he rubbed the cigarette butt on the ashtray while still standing on the balcony.

"Fuck," he mumbled as he chuckled softly and wiped the tears from his eyes with his hands. 'How many times have I said that? How many does that make it? I can't even count,' he thought as he tried to remember.
