He loves me alot

Zhakhil got ready, with the knight by his side they joined his dragon. Iggi was the one to lead the way to where they were headed.

The prince was okay with wherever they go as long as he gets to be his dragon's side. Not that his efforts bore any efforts, Xaddrin distanced himself from him even more.

He would steal glances of his dragon hoping to catch his dragon looking in his direction but that never happened. Xaddrin paid attention to Iggi and only him, he neither turned to look at the prince or tried to form a conversation.

His behaviour tore at the prince's heart. All he did was save him and he reacted like it was the worst thing to do. He didnt get what was wrong in what he did that his dragon changed so much.

It had been a few days but it felt that they had been apart for years. He missed the handsome dragon so much he was tempted yo run to him and embrace him so tightly. To be in his arms and forget all his worries, that was his wish.

He walked behind the dragon and his friend. Adrian walked side by side with him, the knight didn't say a word, probably understanding that Zhakhil was in no mood to talk to him.

They headed down the busy town avoiding bumbling into busy people trying to get to their destination. While he had gotten his destination but the road had patched, it was rough, there was a storm and many more calamities preventing him from reaching his goal.

All he had to do was confess his feelings and convince the dragon to stop avoiding him. "I just want to say that I love you," he uttered sadly and tripped on a stone on the road.

Adran caught him in his arms. Xaddrin and Iggi turned around and saw them together. Xaddrin furrowed his brows, he heard what Zhakhil said perfectly, it made his heart skip a beat only to turn around and realise that it wasn't directed at him.

He looked away immediately, his eyes had moistened and he didnt want anyone to notice. He had a reputation to protect.

"How romantic," Iggi commented. His words pierced Xaddrin in the heart, he had made the choice to leave the prince to protect him but he didnt expect the prince to move on from him so quickly.

That too with the knight. He didnt dislike Adran, he just didn't picture him with the prince, only he looked good with the younger male and it stung that the prince no longer felt that same way.

Zhakhil stood straight regaining his balance. He looked at Xaddrin and sadly the dragon wasn't watching him. He had almost gotten hurt and his protector didn't even turn around to look at him.

His heart was on fire, all he wanted was a sign that he still mattered to the dragon. Just once he wished that dragon would watch him, meet his gaze and assure him that there was a chance for the two of them.

"We should keep walking," Xaddrin let out. He looked everywhere but at Zhakhil. His heart ached while the prince's words echoed in his head.

"You love him?" Iggi asked ignoring Xaddrin's words. He said pointing at the knight. Then, in that moment, Xaddrin looked at Zhakhil to see what his reply would be.

Zhakhil's heart almost stopped beating when he got the sign that he had wished for. Deep down, his dragon still cared. "I am n..."

"Yes," Adran answered on his behalf. "He loves me a lot," he added.

Zhakhil, Xaddrin and Iggi turned in his direction and gazed at him with surprise. He had not said a single word since the start of the journey and then first thing that comes out of his lips is a confirmation of a confession.

"And I love him too," Adran added directly staring at Xaddrin. Xaddrin's breath hitched, he regretted wanting to know the answer. It was not what he expected and it broke his heart into pieces.

He didnt wait for another second and walked away. His dragon flame was threatening to let lose at the knight and burn him to ashes. A flame danced in his eyes threatening to burn everything down.
