Letting go (part two)

"Do you regret it?" Iggi popped the question while handing a cup of tea to Xaddrin.

"It's to keep him safe. I would never regret wanting what's best for him," he replied.

His heart was bleeding. It was wrong of him to have staged the threat but he didn't know another way to get rid of Zhakhil's advances.

It was the only thing that he could do to keep Zhakhil away. The method wasn't acceptable but it would keep him away, if he knew Zhakhil the way that he did then he was certain that he wouldn't look back at him after what he heard.

"Just looking out for you," Iggi said.

Xaddrin looked at the dark clouds. With his ray of dawn gone all that was left in his life was darkness. Lonelinesx had become his friend and he hated that he was growing accustomed to being lonely.

Getting used to not waking up to the sight of a smiling prince. It made him wish that the curse was never lifted so that the two of them would still be stuck at the tower.
