(257) Gods of Gods?

Geth and Apate had left through the Eastern Gate early that morning, heading straight into enemy territory. Apate looked appraisingly at the man walking beside her.

"Yes?" Geth asked.

Apate shrugged, "Just surprised that a Human can have so much stamina."

"What did I say about spying?" He sighed.

"Spying isn't necessary when the auras the three of you gave off are so open," She informed him.

Geth stroked his beard, "The Resonances are still something we have to get used to."

"Apparently."

The treehouse had been in disarray when he'd woken up. Furniture was tipped over while clothes, blankets, and other loose items had been flung around their respective rooms.

If it weren't for Apate intervening by containing their auras to the room, there likely would have been more damage. The consequence of that had been that she was essentially watching.
