Zolis stared at the storm, worriedly watching the timer counting down in her Grimoire. There were only five minutes left, but she didn't think that even Geth could withstand such a force for so long.
And the storm was picking up!
Just a few minutes prior, a tremendous burst of energy exploded from within the storm. The tempest of Mana had calmed instantly, and most of the onlookers had been blown back.
Everything went quiet as the storm receded. There, in the center of the eruption, a purple radiance blinded those who were waiting nearby.
Zolis shielded her eyes, taking a step toward the bizarre spectacle. A hand shot out, grabbing onto her shoulder and pulling her back.
"It isn't time," Apate hissed.
And the Goddess was right.
The calm of the storm hadn't lasted for long. It charged in with renewed vigor, aiming to decimate whatever was inside!
