"Yes." Ivy nodded.

"That would've been nice information to have before we made any deals with you," I said, frustration and anger igniting in my chest.

"This is why you can't trust witches," Colt said.

I glared at him, but all he did was shrug in response. Right or not, that type of commentary wasn't helping the situation.

"Right now, this might be the only thing that helps us find Trent," Ivy said coolly. "Every coven will be on the lookout for Trent, Dante, and Yolanda."

"Whatever," I said. "Just find him. I don't care what you have to do, but what happens if this doesn't work? What's the backup plan?"

"We're working on that," Jax said.

I curled my hands into fists. They'd been working on it for weeks now, and no one was any closer to having an answer or a decent plan. Sometimes, I wondered if I was the only one who truly wanted Trent back home.
