The morning promised to be warmer than it had been as the last of the snow melted away. Sara was glad for it. The cold had lingered longer than usual and had decided to finally warm up the week before Easter.
Feeding the baby now almost six months old, Sara laid her back down to sleep and dressed for the day. Roy rose and made his way into the bathroom. She had made a habit of getting up before the sun rose so she could get herself ready and not have to wait on him to finish up. Waiting on others when there was work to be done drove her crazy and put her in a bad mood. As it was, her mood was not the greatest with the lack of sleep she had been getting with a newborn.
