Part Five - Soutenu
DaoShi leans over, the air between us ripe with something I can't name. The driver double-parks right across my front door, car lights blinking in the dark street. It's close to ten in the evening, the flight having been delayed for an hour. I didn't much mind, for it was time spent by his side. Never did Sunday feel this dreadful, the thought of not sleeping by his side later on, a daunting one. But the fact we've been thrown together in such close quarters for an entire week makes up to everything.
