Chapter one- Home sweet home

Lenlee has been missing for a while now, Ashley knows that. She is worried sick for her friend. Someone just doesn't go missing like this, especially Lenlee. Yes, it has been a while since her and Lenlee talked but she knows it's out of character for Lenlee to go missing. And she can't even do anything but sit and wait.

She checks her phone once in a while for something, anything that will let her know Lenlee is alright. She hears the front door to her house unlock, revealing her dad.

"Dad, did you find her?" Ashley asked, on the verge of crying.

"Ashley, Lenlee-,"

~

6 years later…

Ashley opens the door to her house. It's a decent size, to the right is the door to her room, and a little farther down the hall to the left, is the bathroom. Once you get out of the hallway at the entrance, there's a tidy kitchen with a few cabinets, a fridge and freezer, a microwave, and a stove. She doesn't have a dishwasher so she washes her dishes. To the left of the kitchen, there's a small brown couch with a coffee table in front of it. And there's a small TV. There is another door leading outside, that leads to her roommates' room. He got the master bedroom when they were looking for a place to stay. He called it and she was stuck with the smaller room.

She steps into the room, locking the door behind her. She walks into her room, throwing her bag on the floor and flopping down face-first onto her queen-sized bed. Ashley worked at a small deli store owned by an old husband and wife. The pay is nice and it left her time to try to finish college. She got a scholarship to the University of Arizona, and she didn't even have to think about it. She moved out the first chance she got, happy to finally move out of her old town.

After all, she couldn't stay after...that happened. She hasn't even gone to visit family or friends, they either met halfway or they went to her place. She shook her head to get the thoughts out and brought a pillow up to her face. Her room had plain white walls with a closet across from her bed that slid open. Her room had a window but she covered it. She has a bookshelf with a few books, but it is mostly empty with 4 dnd dice boxes. Each box had all 7 but a different design.

One box was pink and gold, the other was a sparkly dark red, the other was navy blue, and the last one had a marble design. Next to the bookshelf, there was a mirror. She looked at herself in the mirror for a while. She had dark brown curly hair that went to her elbows with bangs and light skin. She had buttercup brown eyes and was wearing black leggings with a plain white shirt. She was 5'7".

'Ok, maybe not the best thing to wear out.' She thought to herself. She stood up and changed out of her current clothes into her pajamas, which were black sweatpants with a red Star Wars shirt. She walked to the kitchen and took out leftover spaghetti from the Cheesecake Factory and poured it on a plate. It is her favorite restaurant, always has been. And she didn't even like cheesecake, just their spaghetti. Eric always says she is weird for that.

She puts the food in the microwave, pulling her phone out and waiting for her food to be done. She leans against the countertop and hears the door unlock. Eric steps in, walking into the kitchen, yawning.

"What are you making?" Eric asks, setting his things down behind the couch. Eric had dark brown skin, his jet black hair was tied up into a loose ponytail on his head. His eyes were a grayish color. He worked as a barista, so he was still wearing his jeans and a short-sleeved black shirt with a navy blue apron with pockets. He was 6'2".

"I'm reheating leftovers, how was work?" Ashley replied, taking the food out of the microwave and stirring it, setting it down on the counter.

"Boring as always. Next time someone asks for a refund on coffee I'm going to lose my shit." Eric groaned, flipping halfway on the couch. Ashley snickered, sitting next to where he was half laying down on the couch, setting her food on the coffee table. Eric looked up and narrowed his eyes at her.

"Do I still have leftovers?" He questioned, getting up from the couch.

"Yep, in the fridge," Ashley answered, taking a bite of her dinner. Eric gets up and puts his leftovers in the microwave, without putting them on a plate, keeping them in the container they put leftovers in.

"You know, if you don't put it on a plate it could give you cancer." Ashley pointed out.

"Fight me bitch, I fear student loans more than death." Eric sighed, standing in front of the microwave.

"Touché," Ashley murmured, turning the TV on and looking through the channels. Eric soon came back over with his food and they watched TV for a couple of hours before Ashley got a text. The text was from Ashley's mom.

-

'From: mom

Hey sweetie, the holidays are nearing and everyone is coming back home to Washington for it. I know you don't like coming back here, but it would only be a month. You could probably use a break, let me know your answer!'

-

Ashley looked at the text and sighed, closing her phone and setting it on the coffee table. Eric raised an eyebrow at her.

"Who was it?" Eric asked, putting his arm around the back of the couch.

"My mom, she wants me to come home for the holidays," Ashley answered, pausing the TV from the show they were watching.

"And that's bad because...?" Eric looked at Ashley confused.

"Something happened back home, so I got out of there as fast as I could after high school and never went back." Ashley went on, looking down.

"Oh, would you be comfortable talking about it?" Eric questioned, putting a comforting hand on Ashleys' shoulder.

"I guess that would be a good idea, I have never told anyone that didn't know," Ashley admitted, looking a bit guiltily at Eric.

"You don't have to tell me if it would make you feel uncomfortable, but if you need to talk I'm here," Eric said, patting her shoulder.

"I want to talk, when I was little, I had a best friend. I have known her since she was 5 years old, and she has known me since then too. In our senior year of high school, she went missing for a few days. Everyone thought that she ran away. But a few days later, my mom told me that she fell off a cliff in a hiking accident." Ashley shared, fidgeting with her fingers and looking down. "I haven't been able to go back, and got the hell out of town as soon as I could." Ashley finished.

"Wow...that's..." Eric started, he couldn't find the right words for the moment.

"Ya, I don't really expect you to say anything, it just feels good to finally talk about it." Ashley smiled weakly, looking at Eric.

"If you want my opinion, you should go see your family. The last time anyone was over here was 4 years ago. You don't want to ruin your relationship with your family and friends, right?" Eric pointed out, pulling Ashley in for a hug.

"You're right, I just don't want to go alone, I haven't seen anyone who hasn't visited in 6 years." Ashley agreed, hugging Eric back.

"I'll go with you, if you ever need support while you're there you can come to me." Eric decided, patting the back of Ashley's head.

"You really are the best," Ashley murmured.

"I know I am," Eric chuckled.

"I'll text my mom back and ask her when she wants us to fly out," Ashley informed, pulling her phone out.

-

'To: mom

Hey mom, I'll fly out. My roommate wants to come, is that ok?

From: mom

That's perfectly fine! I was thinking that you guys could fly out on November 28th? That's two days before your aunt and uncle fly out, it gives us time to catch up! And then you can stay until January 5th, we even have a spare room for your roommate!

To: mom

I'll look for a flight, see you then'

-

"So?" Eric said as Ashley turned her phone off and set it on the coffee table.

"She wants us to fly out on November 28th, and be there until January 5th," Ashley made known.

"I'll call my work, this is going to be the only vacation I will be allowed to take for the rest of my life." Eric groaned, throwing his head back.

"You don't have to go," Ashley said.

"I want to go, your parents are rich right? It will be my only chance to stay in a mansion, unless these good looks of mine pull through and I get myself a sugar mommy. Say, is your mom happy in her marriage right now? Is she lonely, does she need someone to keep her company?" Eric probed, wiggling his eyebrows.

"Ew, what the fuck!" Ashley exclaimed, making a disgusted face and laughing, hitting Eric in the arm.

"Hey! No need for violence," Eric chuckled, rubbing the spot where Ashley hit him.

"But if you're worried about money, my dads' friend owns a small café that I used to work at, I'll see if he could hire us part-time?" Ashley suggested.

"That sounds fun, it's been a while since we worked at the same place," Eric pointed out.

"Indeed it has," Ashley smiled, looking out the window.

~

1 month later...

"November 28th came quick," Ashley groaned, she was standing next to Eric, who still had a travel pillow around his neck. They were waiting for their bags, just getting off their plane, and tired from a 3-hour flight.

"That's what she said," Eric grumbled, rubbing his eyes.

"Me mature," Ashley sighed, pinching the bridge of her nose.

"I don't have the mental energy to be mature, I'm too tired," Eric mumbled. They didn't sleep at all so they wouldn't miss their flight. It was 9 am in Washington right now, her parents should be waiting for her at one of the terminal pickups.

They soon get their luggage, then go to the terminal pickups. There are other people there, some waiting for the bus. They see a limousine parked in the front, and the driver gets out.

"Hello, Ms. Ashley, and her roommate Mr-?" The driver greeted them, he was wearing a black tuxedo, he had a strong jawline, pale skin, and brown hair slicked back. His eyes were a dark brown and he was standing up straight.

"I'm Eric," Eric introduced himself.

"Your parents sent me to come to pick you up, I will help out with your luggage in the back." The driver offered.

"Oh, that's fine. I don't want to trouble you." Ashley said, throwing a fake smile on. She was tired and didn't want to be rude.

"If you say so, get in the back of the limousine, then I will drive you to your parent's house." The driver made it known, stepping back into the car, closing the driver's door. Ashley opened the back and put her bag in, Eric hurried in after her. Once Eric and their luggage were in the back, Ashley closed the door. She felt them drive off.

"Can we talk about that driver? He makes me question my sexuality." Eric gushed, Ashley chuckled.

"Ya, men like him are the reason I'm Bi," Ashley grinned, looking out the window. They then heard a sound that sounded like a window closing, they turned and it was the window that connected the front with the back, and it was closing.

"Did...did he hear us?" Eric faltered.

"I think so," Ashley blushed, burying her face in her hands.

"Welp, I hope the driver drives us off a cliff because I can't live with this embarrassment." Eric sighed, shaking his head. Ashley chuckled. The rest of the ride was silent, Eric was sleeping and Ashley just looked out the window. The drive was green, that's why Washington is called the evergreen state. She remembers whenever her parents would take her to Seattle, she would look for the space needle, her best friend would normally go with them since their fathers were business partners. They made a game out of it, whoever saw the space needle first won, and the loser had to buy the winner something from pikes place. Ashley lost most of the time, she wasn't as perceptive as her friend.

Ashely was brought out of her thoughts when the car stopped and pulled in front of her parent's house. It was as big as she remembered it. She woke Eric up and they both got out of the limousine, after they got out the driver drove away. Ashley saw her mom and dad at the front door, waving and waiting for her. She steps up the steps and goes to hug her parents.

"Thank you so much for coming, the towns missed you," Her mom thanked, combing through Ashley's hair with her fingers. Her mom had her dark brown hair in a tidy bun. She had light skin and she looked like she was 35, not 49. Her mother had pretty green eyes that Ashley always wished she inherited. Her mom was wearing a tight teal dress that went to her knees.

"We've also missed you so much," Her dad smiled down at her, ruffling her hair. Her dad was 49 and looked like it. Her dad was wearing a red and black plaid flannel and dark jeans. Her dad had white hair that was slicked back, his eyes were the same buttercup brown Ashley's eyes were.

"I've missed you guys too, it's just been difficult returning," Ashley sighed.

"I understand, I'm just glad you're back," Her father said. She heard a cough come from behind her, it was Eric.

"Oh, you must be the roommate," Her mom stated, looking at Eric. Eric went up the stairs and stood next to Ashley.

"Yep, hi I'm Eric," Eric introduced.

"Hello Eric, I'm Ashley's mom, but you can call me Denise." Her mom greeted, smiling.

"Well, Denise. I can't wait to learn all about you," Eric smirked, kissing the back of Ashley's mom's hand. Ashley rolled her eyes and silently gagged.

"You flatter me," Denise chuckled, Eric let go of her hand. Ashley's dad coughed, holding his hand out and shaking Eric's hand.

"I'm Robert, Ashley's dad." Ashley's dad introduced.

"I can't wait to hear about Ashley's embarrassing childhood stories," Eric said, smiling. After a bit more conversation, they made their way inside the house. It opened up to a living room, with a huge staircase leading upstairs. The house was huge and tidy, her mom probably got help from the maids.

Ashley remembers running through the halls playing tag with her best friend, the maids yelling after them to slow down. She smiles slightly at the memory.

"Eric, your room is right next to Ashley's old room, Ashley I figured you could stay in your old room, it saved space." Her mother informed, clasping her hands together.

"Ya, that's fine," Ashley said, nodding.

"I'll give you two some time to settle in, your father has a business thing and I'm going to be preparing for our other guests. Feel free to explore." Her mother made it known, starting to walk away.

"If you want, I could help you after I drop my bags off," Eric offered. Ashley shot him a death glare to which he shrugged and smirked back at her.

"Oh you're so nice, I would like that," her mother accepted, walking away with her father in tow

"You have no shame," Ashley sighed, glaring at Eric.

"What can I say, your mother's a milf," Eric shrugged. Grabbing his bags and running as quickly as he could.

"Why you-," Ashley shouted, running after Eric. She chased him until they were exhausted, panting and sitting on the floor.

"Where even is the room?" Eric pants, starting to get up.

"I'll show you, follow me," Ashley instructed, slowly getting up and walking to her old room. Eric followed, and they got there. It was in a hallway, and the room closest was two doors down, between their rooms was a bathroom and a storage closet. The bathroom was for Eric's room since Ashley already had a bathroom in her room.

"After you're done helping my mom, meet me by the café at 4 pm so we can see if we can get part-time jobs there, my mom will tell you where it is," Ashley suggested.

"Got it," Eric replied, going to his room. Ashley touched the handle of her door, and kept her hand there for a while, looking down. The door was white and the handle was a gold color. She remembered that she used to have her name painted here with flowers on it, but she painted over it. She opened the door and the familiar scent of lavender and vanilla enveloped her.

The room was big, and nothing had changed from how she left it. She had white curtains covering the window and door on the wall across from her. That door leads to a balcony. To her right, was the door to the bathroom she had. Her room floors were dark brown wood. To the left she had a bed against the wall, facing the wall the bathroom was at. The bed was a queen bed with lined black and white sheets. The pillowcases were white. She had a couch in her room across from the bed, facing a TV that was mounted on the wall.

Beside the TV, was a bookshelf with movies and video games. Upon closer inspection, her old gaming system was replaced with an Xbox One, and the old games were replaced with new ones. To the left of the bed, was a nightstand. And to the right, was a walk-in closet. Inside the walk-in closet, the right had empty hangers, and to the left was a dresser. She set her bags at the foot of her bed and got out her hygiene supplies.

She walked into the bathroom. It had a huge countertop with a single sink in the middle. There was a big mirror in front of the countertop, as if flying across the mirror, there were plastic butterflies glued to the mirror. Her best friend did this for her when high school started. Behind the countertop was a bathtub with a showerhead, it doubled as a bath and shower, depending on which one you wanted to take. To the right of the countertop was a toilet.

She set her hygiene stuff down and walked out of the bathroom, looking around. After she left, her mother must have cleaned this place. After her best friend died, she pushed everyone away. She didn't talk to her now ex-boyfriend, parents, or other friends. She can imagine people probably hate her now.

Ashley knows what she should probably do. She never visited her best friend's grave, and she didn't go to her funeral. They would always joke that they would spill each other's deepest secrets as a speech at each other's funerals, but when it happened Ashley knew she couldn't do that. She didn't even have the strength to go.

Ashley takes out a small purse she packed, puts her wallet and phone in it, and makes her way downstairs. No one is there when she goes home, she texts her parents and Eric that she is going out to town. She grabs a set of car keys and gets in a Camry her father owns. She then drives away from the house, and into town.

Once in town, she stops in front of a flower shop. She went there when helping her best friend get flowers for asking someone to prom. She walks in, the bell ringing as she opens the door. From behind the counter, a familiar face turns around.

"No fucking way," The woman says from behind the counter. The woman has light brown skin and pretty black hair tied back in a loose ponytail. She is wearing ripped jeans and a black shirt with a green apron over it. She has pretty gray eyes and is around 5'4", shorter than Ashley.

"Hey Martha," Ashley says awkwardly, kicking the ground slightly.

"I thought I would never see you again after what happened with Lenlee." Martha cheered, running to Ashley and hugging her. Ashley awkwardly hugged back, she remembers that Martha never had any boundaries, everyone was Martha's friend whether they liked it or not.

"Well, I'm back for a while now," Ashley chuckled.

"We have to meet up sometime when you're here, maybe we can invite the others too!" Martha suggested, pulling away from the hug.

"Ya, that would be fun," Ashley agreed.

"So, what are you here for?" Martha asked, looking around the store eagerly.

"Do you have hyacinth flowers?" Ashley questioned, remembering a conversation with her best friend, Lenlee she had with her a few months before the accident.

~~~~
"Hyacinth flowers are pretty interesting," Lenlee said out of the blue, they were laying in a random grass field, not even talking about plants.
"Why is that?" Ashley asked, sitting up, looking at Lenlee. That day Lenlee was wearing black leggings and a gray barb wire button-up shirt.
"The story that goes with them I think is interesting, from Greek mythology. It was a prince named Hyacinthus, he and the sun god, Apollo were dating. Zephyr the west wind got jealous and one day Apollo was teaching Hyacinthus how to throw a discus, Zephyr changed the wind and it hit Hyacinthus, killing him. Apollo then turned him into a flower. All of Apollo's lovers either kill themselves or turn into flowers, but Apollo is a bi icon." Lenlee had explained, chuckling at the end, Ashley also chuckling.
~~~~

Ashley had a passing thought then, she forgot what Lenlees' face looked like, or what Lenlee looked like. She kept no pictures of Lenlee, putting them in a box under her bed and never looking at them again. Maybe she should look at those at some point.

"Ya, we have those. Lemme go get them for you!" Martha answered, going behind the counter and then to the back of the store. Ashley took the opportunity to look around the store, and different scents were mixing. The flowers were all really pretty, some were the same flowers in a single bouquet, others were multiple mixed together.

Martha came out from the back of the store, a bouquet of different colored hyacinths I'm hand. She had purple, pink, and white hyacinths. Ashley wishes that she knew what Lenlee's favorite flower was, Lenlee only ever mentioned hyacinths that one time. The other time flowers were brought up, she was shopping for her promposal.

"That will be $20," Martha said, getting behind the register. Ashley took out her wallet and handed Martha $20. "Thank you, see you later!" Martha cheered, waving at Ashley.

"See you later Martha," Ashley smiled then left, waving back at Martha. Ashley stepped back into the car, putting the flowers carefully in the passenger seat. She then drove off, she had to put GPS on since the only time she went to the cemetery was with Lenlee a few times when they were little to visit LenLee's mom. Lenlee stopped visiting her mom when she turned 13, at least stopped visiting her with Ashley.

~~~~
"Lenlee, can we go? This place creeps me out." Ashley had asked, shivering because it was winter.
"Get used to it, you'll be buried here one day," Lenlee teased, placing a flower on her mom's grave.
"Shut up!" Ashley huffed, breathing out some hair, the cold making it look like smoke.
"Just saying, it's inevitable. If not this cemetery then another one," Lenlee pointed out, standing up.
~~~~

Ashley parked in the parking lot, the short stone walls of the cemetery near her. She didn't know where Lenlee was buried, but she knew where Lenlee's mom was. Maybe she should have gotten some flowers for her mom. Maybe next time, if she decides to visit again.

Ashley went to where Lenlee's mom was, which was on a hill area. She stood in front of the gravestone.

'Here lies Monique Brooks.

Wonderful daughter, sister, wife, businesswoman, friend, and mother

She will be deeply missed'

Ashley took a flower from the bouquet out and placed it on the grave. Next to the grave, was a similar one.

'Here lies Lenlee Brooks.

Wonderful daughter, an even better friend.

She will be missed'

Ashley put the bouquet on the grave and sat down next to it. She remembers one night when they were talking about Pet Cemetery, which they recently watched.

~~~~
"Ok, but if I die before you, which I highly doubt I will-," Lenlee had started to say, but Ashley cut her off.
"What do you mean you highly doubt?" Ashley laughed, pushing Lenlee lightly.
"I mean that I will outlast you. I'm smarter than you, you would probably die because you thought that rat poison was a drink," Lenlee teased, smirking at Ashley.
"You're an asshole," Ashley huffed and turned away.
"An honest asshole, but as I was saying. If I somehow die before you, probably because you accidentally shot me with a firework, or poisoned me with your cooking-," Lenlee started, but Ashley hit her in the shoulder.
"Just get to the point and stop being a dick," Ashley chuckled.
"Well, on my gravestone, write 'will be returning soon'. It would be funny, not the funniest idea I have had but still." Lenlee requested.
~~~~

Ashley hadn't done that for Lenlee, maybe one day she will change it. A wind blew by, and she realized she was alone in the graveyard. She always hated coming here because she found it creepy, but at least then she went with Lenlee. Lenlee never seemed affected by the idea of death, she even said once that she didn't think there was anything after death. Ashley always believed in reincarnation, she wondered if there was a little girl out there with Lenlee's soul.

Ashley must have sat there, saying nothing for an hour, it was super cold, she checked the time. It was 3:30, it would take 10 minutes to make it to the café from here. Ashley decided she should say something, even if it wouldn't reach Lenlee's ears.

"Hey Len, it's been 6 years. Sorry, it's taken this long to visit. I miss you, sorry but you lost, you died before me. It wasn't even my fault, ha." Ashley started. "Life's been kind of weird without you, before Eric no one told me obvious things, or made fun of me. You would like Eric. If you were alive to meet him, you guys would probably be best friends." Ashley chuckled, looking down and fidgeting with her fingers, something she did out of habit.

"Martha works at the flower shop now, I haven't seen anyone else, I'll have to go visit your father at some point, and say hi. He must be really lonely without you and your mom. I'll drop by tomorrow." Ashley continued.

"Eric and I are going to work part time at the café. I'm going to college to be a teacher. I'm graduating this year. I took a break from college for two years, so that's why I'm so late. I'm going to go, I might come back." Ashley then got up and walked away quickly. She felt crazy and upset. She just wanted to go home and lay down, she shouldn't have come here. She shouldn't act like Lenlee actually heard her. She got in her car and drove to the café.

When she got there, Eric was already there, flirting with a blonde woman, Skylar. Skylar was very pretty, she had pretty brown eyes, blonde hair. Her skin was pale and she was wearing a white sweater with black leggings.

"Hey Eric," Ashley walked to them, Skylar turned to her.

"Oh hey Ashley, I thought I wouldn't see you again," Skylar smiled. Skylar and Ashley didn't like each other. Ashley only put up with Skylar because Lenlee had a huge crush on her until she turned 15 and Skylar rejected her. But Skylar and Lenlee still remained friends.

"Ya, I didn't think I would be here again," Ashley chuckled. Skylar turned to Eric and pulled out her phone, giving it to him.

"Here, put your number in here. I'll text you later," Skylar said, giving a pretty smile to Eric, who put his number in and winked at Skylar, who then walked away waving.

"I didn't think she would actually do it," Eric gasped, turning excitedly to Ashley, she could practically see the dog tail wagging. Ashley sighed and chuckled.

"Let's just go in," Ashley suggested, opening the door and walking in. The nostalgic smell of coffee and pastries wafted through her nose. She remembers she worked here for about two years, and Lenlee would always come here for free pastries and coffee from her.

Ashley saw a head poke out from behind the counter, it was an old man, he was bald and was wearing a loose gray shirt with some jeans. He had glasses on and was probably 5'5". His eyes were a faded brown. When he saw Ashley, his face lit up.

"Ashley! Good to see ya!" He cheered, throwing his arms up in the air.

"Hey Mr. Sanders," Ashley greeted, awkwardly waving.

"Oh please, call me John," John chuckled, shaking his head.

"This is my roommate Eric, I'll be in town until the 5th of January. We were wondering if we could work here part-time until then?" Ashley asked.

"Of course, how about you start Monday next week, 9-12 for 7$ an hour? Monday-Friday. I might ask you to do the closing shift a few times though," John accepted, looking like he was thinking very hard.

"Thank you so much!" Ashley thanks..

"I will not disappoint you ancient one," Eric joked, earning an annoyed huff from John. Ashley elbowed Eric in the side. Remembering the tiny rivalry that John and Lenlee had, she would constantly call him an ancient one, like the turtle from The Never Ending Story.

"I'll see you then Ashley, come by whenever you want." John waved as they left, the scent of coffee leaving the farther they got.

When they got back to the house, dinner was already ready. After Ashley left, she went up to her room and flopped onto her bed. She hadn't slept in over 24 hours and was exhausted. She didn't even bother changing into her pajamas, she just simply went under the covers and curled up in them, falling asleep.

Ashley awoke to the sound of birds chirping and the wind blowing the curtains.

'Wait...' Ashley thought, shooting up immediately, she never opened the balcony window yesterday. The curtains were blowing and she could make out the silhouette of someone sitting on the balcony railing. She slowly got out of bed, noticing the pink, purple, and white flower petals scattered around the room, leading to the balcony.

"Eric is that you?" She called out, grabbing a shoe from her suitcase. There was no response, she crept closer to the balcony door, opening it and chucking a shoe at the silhouette, hearing the shoe hit the ground below them.

Sitting on the balcony railing was a woman. She had a black long-sleeved turtle neck on, she was wearing dark blue jeans with black combat boots. Her eyes were closed. Her hair was blonde with blue streaks, it went down to her collar bone. From Ashley's view, the left side of her hair was pinned to the side with hair clips, that side of her hair was slightly shaved. In her hand, she held a pink hyacinth flower.

She turned towards Ashley, opening her eyes, they were a cloudy white. She threw the flower at Ashley, who just stared at her.

"Boo," The woman smirked, swinging her feet back and forth.

"Lenlee...?" Ashley gasped.
