That was the reason why at my last school I could do whatever I wanted. I took that school from the hundreds of thousands place to the lower hundreds.

I could have made it the best school but there are only so many tests that can be taken.

The tests are out of every single student and once a student fails they are disqualified.

So before I could take it to the number one school all the other students had already failed which in turn ended the testing.

It was probably a good thing for the school. Because I raised it so high and the teachers weren't qualified, the school didn't match its placement. If it were to become the best school reality would be shaken.

But I honestly didn't care about that as I would never purposely get a question wrong. So it was for the best that the tests ended.

This is the reason I was recruited to Lakewood.

The academy was close to coming in second place and the school has to have the best of the best and well I am the best.

By this time the line shortened and I was able to walk into the building.

From what I was able to see from the outside of the bus, it's a huge school with multiple buildings that have many stories.

Unfortunately, I didn't get any directions before coming to the school but that's to be expected for transfer students.

After all, there's no time to get to know people and become familiar with the surroundings.

Luckily, I just had to follow the black as everyone moved towards one location.

Walking down the excessively big hallways, hundreds of people went towards three buildings.

I came to a four-way stop where above each path a giant number hung indicating who went where.

To the left was 3, the middle was 2, and the right was 1.

I didn't know which number to go towards so I stood in the middle to see if I could differentiate between them as I watched students move towards one of the three numbers.

After some time I concluded that the vast majority went to 3, while some went to 2, and very little went towards 1.

'This must be segregation of the talented. With 3 being average, 2 above average, and 1 outstanding. But then why did the man tell me to go towards 0?' I wonder as I look around to see if I was missing anything.

After a moment I just gave up and went towards the 1 building where I figured I would be able to ask a teacher.

In the five minutes I stood in the middle, only sixty-seven kids had gone towards 1. Being that I've seen four thousand three hundred twenty-nine students since I got off the bus the percentage is really low. Not to mention the number of people still trying to get into the school.

Walking down the now quiet hallway away from the horde of people that were trying to enter the school I came to another stop.

To the left was 1 and to the right was 0.

'Ah, found it,' I say in my head as I walk towards the 0 hallway.

However, after walking for less than half the time I did when I first started walking down 1 I came to a checked-off area.

There was a man in a security outfit who was actually armed that made his way towards me.

"Get out of here. Don't you know the rules by now? Your dumbass isn't even worthy to walk down this hallway. Go back to where you belong or I'll have you expelled," The guard said as he continued to walk towards me.

With a quick glimpse I determined, 'The safety is off, the gun definitely doesn't have a bullet in the chamber for two reasons. One is he wouldn't risk having the gun accidentally go off and two it needs to be cocked back. He still has it strapped meaning he needs at least three seconds before he will be able to shoot. But all I need is one.'

Attempting to explain to the guard I say, "I am a new transfer student, I was told to come-"

"I don't give a shit who you are or who told you what. I've been doing this long enough to know when someone is trying to get in. Now turn back or else!" The man interrupted as he got right in my face.

"You really should know who you're talking to. Sometimes it may just be the wrong person to mess with," I said with an emotionless face.

"Wha— AH! Ahhhhhh," The man's screams could be heard as they echoed down the long hallway.

Grabbing his hand I bent his wrist backward towards his shoulder. This instantly causes him to fall to his knees incapacitating him.

Cracking could be heard as bones and muscles got disjointed, broken, and torn.

With my right hand, I simply reached down and grabbed the pistol from his waist.

After doing so I let go of his hand and cocked back the gun.

The sound of the bullet being ready to be fired at any moment caused whatever color was left in the man's face to turn white.

Clicking the safety off I raised the pistol and put it to his forehead.

The man's expression was full of fear and disbelief.

He couldn't help but wonder if he was going to die.

"Bang."

Silence filled the hallway before laughter erupted.

"Hahahahaha," The guard couldn't help but laugh out loud. "You're definitely one of them."

Knowing that the situation was over I clicked the safety back on and removed the gun from his head.

I only said 'bang' aloud but I didn't actually shoot him… although it's not like it would have mattered if I did.

"My name is Willow I was told to go to 0, don't block me again or else," I say using his own words against him.

The guard said nothing but fell back on the floor breathing heavily.
