Chapter Six: Slaughterer's Trial

Currently Haoyu is standing in front a legion of ferocious beast. The trial of Evil King is simple. It is to face and kill the beasts in front of him. For the trial he was given a sword and he is only allow to use it. The blade is black with white markings. His sword also a yin yang insignia on the guard. Once the blade was in his hand he felt a perfect bond with it. It felt like a piece of him had been returned.

Evil King: The trial shall now begin.

As Evil King finished speaking the legion of beast charged Haoyu. First to arrive was a black dog, who got it's head chopped off. Right as the head fell on the ground. Another one came to his as it tried to bit him. Leaning to the left he evaded it's fangs. While dodging he kicked it. Sending it flying into a tiger knocking it down. Thus began his rampage. As his kills stacked up they became more precise.

Dancing with blade in hand Haoyu started understanding things. The first thing he understood was about his familiar. Originally he thought there was two ,but it turns out that it is only one. It just actives in one of two states. Basically it is designed around the concept of The Great Yin Yang Evil King Sword. With his sword there are a few change. One for example is that evil king's unique ability is cutting. While Massacre King's abilities allowed him to control killing intent. Using killing intent let's one cause what ever to decay. Cutting is the power to cut through anything he wants.

Massacre King; Why waste your time with this pointless test. You and I both know that he will pass.

Evil King: That day when I failed to control myself and severed all those life forces. I could sense their hatred attach itself to us. Since then I could feel them trying to corrupt us. Those beast are in fact that hatred. So he needs to make them submit. But, I don't want him to hesitate feeling bad for them.

As the two kings conversed Haoyu continued to slay beasts. When he first started his skill were decent. After his father prefers to fight barehanded so sword training was lack luster. But thanks to this trial he improved exponentially. This trend continued until he killed the last beast. When he did they all transformed into swords. Just like the one in his hand. The only difference between them is that the other swords are platinum. On each blade there is the presence of both kings.

When the kings show what happened them quickly went in front of Haoyu. Once they stood before him they kneeled down.

Evil/Massacre King: We are honored to final be able to fight by your side. Although we are titled as kings you are our emperor. May your battles serve to prove this to the world.

Haoyu: No need to be so formal. After al,l if it weren't for my weakness you would not need suffer. From this day forward we will face everything together.

Haoyu's words caused a smile to from on the two ruler's faces. A light they wrapped there bodies and they turned into a sword. Holding his blade in the air Haoyu let out a shout. Once he did the other swords floated and fused into his. Done merging Great Yin Yang Evil King Sword let out a roar. Space shattered return Haoyu back to the magic circle. Only now he is holding a sword releasing a platinum aura. Avrora has a smug smile on her face. Everyone else has their eyes on the blade mesmerized.

Avrora:Looks like you seceded in bringing them under your control.

Haoyu: So you already knew about the resentment attached to my familiar.

Avrora: Of course I knew. At first we thought to remove them but your father said no. Apparently if we left them then you could use them as your strength. Listen these are words from your father. "A Devil Arhat is one who has embrace both evil and righteousness." Your familiar is a representation of this.

Haoyu gazed deeply at his new partner and felt that their future together will be bright. Rias is also looking at the new pair. She would sometimes hear her mother talk about Avrora. From the stories she knew Avrora is very strong. One story. was about how the previous Lucifer tried to court her. At first she just ignored his advances. But, eventually she couldn't take it anymore. When that happened she stormed into his castle and knocked his teeth out. Not only that but she also flattened the castle. After this event no had the courage to pursue her. Everyone except for one man Qin Chao.

They eventually ended up marrying and having a son. Until now she always wanted to meet one of the most legendary women in the underworld. Yet when she met her. Rias was more focused on her son. Up til now Rias has seen plenty of young men, but he was different. What drew her was not his looks nor his status. Rather it was the aura around him. In front of him Rias felt that he was born to make the world kneel. While he was awakening his familiar she asked her mother about it.

Venelana: The aura you feel from him is the result of two powerful bloodlines fussing. His father's lineage already give him the seductive aura of a devil. While also giving him the calming and soothing air of a Buddha. Now add a vampire's charm, and you get the most attractive man alive.

Rias could not help but agree with what her mother said. Even she a high ranking devil could not resist his charm. Now he stood before her like an emperor. Her heartbeat threatened to come from her chest. Enjoying that feeling she began to make plans. First she would need to break off her current engagement. Next she needed to get close to him and of course the girls he brought. Then last but not least marry him. Her decision made Rias turned to Akeno and Aiko.

Rias: I know this many be a rude question but I was wondering if you would like to join my peerage. Of course you can refuse. Although since my pieces have taken a like to you both I thought it a good idea.

What Rias had said shocked Akeno and Aiko. After all they never thought they would catch the heiresses eyes. Venelana was not surprised by her daughter's actions. Rias as the Gremory princess has always carried herself a certain way. Until now she has never shown interest in any boy. Although she is engaged. Venelana knew that her daughter hated her fiance. It pains her that she can't do anything about the engagement. So when she saw Rias is interested in Haoyu. She decided to watch and see where this goes.
