Let The Movie Begin
A beeping sound penetrated the silence of a special intensive care unit.
Tina breathed on the hospital bed, with an oxygen cannula pipe in her nose. Two syringes pierced on her bare palm, which supplied her blood. Her face appeared pale, lips chapped, several injuries on her skin, and her neck bandage covered the huge munch of a predator, breaking the nerves of her blood flow.
When she was hospitalized, she faced a lot of blood loss After providing a lot of blood bottles, she was able to survive whilst others in that Halloween party couldn't. Slowly her eyelashes flickered open and fell on a blurry image of someone standing in front of her. When it became clear, her eyes widened in horror after seeing him in front of him. Her breathing palpitated. Her fists clenched the bedsheet over her. Words couldn't escape from her mouth as he waltzed near her, roaming the gaze on her body.
She started whimpering in terror. When his hand moved near her face, she closed her eyes, feeling his bare touch on her hair.
Augustus tilted his head, brushing her hair back, and saw the mark on her neck.
"Seems like you got a big hickey last night!" he rasped, smirking at her.
Tears filled in her eyes in realization.
"I - I k-know w-who y-you a-are! A v-vamp-pir-"
"Shhhhhh" he kept a finger on her lips and slowly caressing her, he gripped her chin. "It's a little secret between us!" he whispered.
Tina was on the verge of a fearful cry looking at the deadly vampire in front of her. Never in her life has she ever imagined her boss to be a vampire. She trembled after seeing his eyes flickering red and hair turning into the deep scarlet shade.
"I-I w-will the-tell this to everyone"
"I know you won't tell this to-wait what?" It was completely opposite of what he had been used to hearing from the prey in his captive.
"I k-know your t-truth. Y-you d-deepest s-secret! Y-you are s-screwed"
Fuck! What the hell is she talking about! She can't be doing this.
"You know I can kill you right?" he warned her, resting his hand over his belt coolly.
Tina slightly shook her head. Augustus's eyes narrowed when he saw her pointing out the CCTV camera. He looked in the direction and chuckled.
"Seriously! Do you think that will capture me? Arhhh, girl, do you even have an idea of me?"
"You are a vampire!"
"Yeah, those lenses can't really capture a soulless person like me! Well, I have souls but they aren't mine. I hope you are getting it Ms. Tina '' he gestured his eyes at the mirrored window pane in front of her. Tine looked at it that way and saw her reflection but not him. Her jaw dropped in shock. When she looked at his way, no one stood there.
Where did he go?
"Finding me?" his voice came from behind. She looked above her head and saw his face. He stood behind the canopy bed, looking at her. A whistle fell on her ears and she snapped her in the direction, finding him again, standing near the window.
"Well well well" then he saw him walking in front of her. A snap of her fingers flinched at her to see him sitting beside her. She looked above her head and he smirked. Her eyes caught him waving at her near the windows. He walked around her, while the other kept whistling.
She was surrounded by his clones and it kept appearing on every side. His mind games started messing with her so that she couldn't understand what was happening to her. He was everywhere. The room suddenly filled with his clones and she closed her eyes finding it terrifying to accept.
The silence spread across the room. The only thing she could hear was her rapid heartbeats and breathing. When she opened her eyes and found no one around her. She let out a sigh of relief thinking he is gone. Finally!
She breathed out normally until her eyes fell on him again, lying beside her, on the bed. She flinched as he laid turning his face at her, with a menacing gaze, smirk on his face, parting his lips and showing his fangs he blurted, "Ciao honey"
In a moment everything in front of her eyes blacked out.

While driving the car, Augustus wiped some stains of the blood over his lips and roamed his fingers through his hair that returned to normal. She was right, he couldn't kill her. She knew his deepest secret and if she could survive from the fatal attack of a ripper then she can survive any apocalypse in the world. Although the blood has always enraged him to crave for more this time he showed mercy only wiping the Halloween night from her memories making sure she won't remember even the slightest part of it and gulped down the blood bottles around her to tame his hunger. Now she won't be able to reveal his secret.
His work has been done!
Now only one thing remained.
Meeting his favorite human being and secret healer, Ivan!
His phone buzzed in the holder, flashing Ivan's name on it. He smiled and looked ahead seeing Kai's car driving in the lane. He changed the gear, speeding up towards that car.
While sitting in the car, Moon's eyes fell on another car driving beside theirs. Her face bloomed as soon as Augustus rolled down the windows. His eyes fixated ahead on the road and his hands on the steering. Ivan saw a Lamborghini overtaking ahead while calling Augustus and his eyes widened reading the number plate.
"Ahhh this asshole is here already!" he mumbled under his breath and angrily cut the call.
Kai smiled thinking after a long time all will be together again. He saw his sister Moon's smile after a long time. He drove nearby the theatre hall. Ivan showed him an empty spot at the open parking spot. He halted his car there.
While getting down the car, Moon watched the Lamborghini's door opening upwards and the man stepping down from it. She inhaled feeling the whip of the air on her face, flowing her golden hair with it. Her heart paced up after seeing the man she shared her first kiss with. The love of her life, Augustus, took long strides towards them.
"Hi" she could barely breathe out the words in front of him while he walked past her, straight towards Ivan, and hugged him tightly. Kai gave an assuring nod to Moon knowing his best friend's introverted traits when socializing.
For the other eyes, it was him who hugged Ivan but for Augustus, it was him who wanted to be in Ivan's embrace.
"Grazie Mille, Tiny (A million thanks, Tiny)" He mumbled near the former's ears.
Ivan felt perplexed hearing his words. When he wanted to be angry with him, the tall raven-haired man showed a gesture of gratitude.
All could Augustus felt grateful for Ivan's existence in his life otherwise he won't be the same as he is now. The ripper in him not only snatched other souls but would have eaten his sanity too. Only because of Ivan he could be back. He could read Ivan's confused state of mind, and how his anger subdued to question marks.
He couldn't tell him openly. Does the earth thank the sky to be a part of it? Ivan was like that star in his life which lessened his darkness a bit.
Kai looked at them wanting to know more when he couldn't read his mind.
Augustus pulled away from the hug, eyes settled on Ivan's face.
"Okay but that doesn't mean I've forgiven you"
That brought a smirky smile to the older's face.
Ivan rolled up his eyes in annoyance but shook it off thinking to enjoy the movie plan with his friends.
"Let's go, we will miss the beginning of the movie" he strolled further, accompanying Moon. Kai smiled, glancing at Augustus and bobbing his eyebrows at him. The mullet haired shook his head slightly and walked further which made Kai a little confused but he shrugged it away once entering the movie theatre with them.
