The deal is off!

"I'm sorry."Emma apologized with tears glistening eyes. She was embarrassed to a point where she felt the best thing to do was cry and let out that stinging pain she was feeling in her heart right now. Wasn't her humiliation earlier this morning enough? Why was the universe hell-bent on breaking her.

No! No."I won't cry!I can't afford to be weak now especially not in front of everyone and I can't let anyone see my tears.Emma Reilly is a strong woman and can never break. I will never break!" She kept repeating the same words like a mantra.

"It's okay, you may leave now."Maya finally spoke after a long while of silence. It took all her witts to remain calm. She had to after all the person standing before her was no ordinary man. She had heard that signing a deal with this man was no easy thing. This man 'Deven Quinn' wasn't as simply as he appeared to be.He dosen't sign a deal or get into collaboration with just anyone and if he does considers it then he must have a lot of benefits. He can and has never made a losing deal so his proposal in getting into collaboration with Louis corporation did come as a shock to her but now, with the due to the recent turn of events she wasn't so sure anymore.

Ahem!"Uhmm Hello Mr Quinn, I'm Maya Louis. The CEO of Louis corporation. We at Louis corp have been expecting you. You are highly welcome."Maya said and sheepishly stretched out her hand trying her absolute best to maintain a proper and neutral composure.

Deven stared at her outstretched palm and scrutinized her face for seemingly what seemed to be an eternity.

Seeing Deven's expression Maya couldn't help but feel worried. What if he decided to call of the deal?

"No! No that can't happen. He can't call of the deal he simply can't! I had promised mom to finalize the deal because it will prove very beneficial to our company so if he decides to go back on it then...then...?"Maya thought worriedly. She was snapped out of her train of thought by Deven's next word.

"The deal is off."Was all he said simply and turned around to leave.

"W-What? What?!Mr Quinn please don't do this. I'm sorry for how inappropriately my employee had spoken to you earlier it simply wasn't right but please, give Louis a chance to serve you. I promise there won't be anymore complaints from now on."Maya begged contemtibly.

"I'm sorry Miss Louis but I really don't like repeating myself. You very well know the reason I'm calling off this deal so I believe I don't have to say anything more!"Deven retorted without batting an eyelid.

It was actually and trulya fact well known to everyone that this man was 'a man of few words'. He never repeats himself and once he makes a decision, he dosen't go back on it. Whatever he says goes and is the final say.
