"What?! Chance?!"
Alain Boden sprang up suddenly. Then, he remembered his soak pants and his face was hot with embarrassment. He covered himself with a blanket.
"Get out!" He shouted.
Chance Boden left the room after letting out a sigh. He was at a loss for word at how his lord could do immoral things to both of them, brothers.
Huvel was also dumbfounded. He had never thought things would become like that. He could only blame on his tendency to toy with someone on an impulse.
At first, all he wanted was to find a guinea pig for the Flying Leaf Nymph to test mana detection on human body. He did not want to volunteer because he was afraid the nymph would not have a good control over his mana and could harm him in the process so he presented Alain, the freest person in the castle, to the nymph as a test subject.
He taught the nymph how to inject mana and use it to detect the inners of human body. Although Chance Boden seeing him bullying Alain Boden was out of his plan, Huvel was quite satisfied. The nymph was better at it than he thought.
And it came as a surprise to him that Alain Boden could see the nymph while he was not an awakened human. Huvel had some speculations regarding that matter so he decided to experiment them the next time when Alain Boden calms down.
"Don't be too embarrassed," Huvel said to Alain. "It is normal to ejaculate like that after some stimulation. I'm leaving for now. Cheer up!"
Huvel signalled the nymph to follow him and left Alain alone in the room. He went to his office to find Chance.
"So, what is the matter that you want to report to me urgently?" he asked Chance who was sitting at his usual place with a sore face.
"Pardon me for intruding your fun time," replied Chance with a bow; his face was still dark. "I just received an important letter and wanted to report about it as soon as possible. I failed to respect your private time."
"Hey, hey, why are you saying words like that?" Huvel said with a wry smile. "Are you perhaps jealous?"
"What?! No… Sigh. I think I am."
"Eh? Really?"
"Master, I believe you know that he is my elder brother. He and I do not have a good relationship. When you suddenly brought him to your home and treated him like one of your own, I cannot help but feel insecure and think that you are planning to kick me out."
"Pfft! Chance, seriously? Why are you using your wits to interpret things that way?"
"Was I wrong? Then, why did you bring him here, master? My father would not dare to not fulfil his promise even if you do not take a hostage."
"Fufufu. Isn't that obvious? I brought Alain Boden here to make him understand that my vessel Chance Boden is superior to the heir of Boden March."
"Ma… Master. You do not need to go such length for me."
"Why not? You have been working diligently for me so it is only right for me to reward you a little. Feel free to bully your brother. His status is lower than any servants in this castle."
"Thank you, master. I will just do that."
Chance became cheerful again. And he got into serious mood in the next moment. He told Huvel that he received a letter from Marquis Algernon that request for a visit permission to Boswel. Chance had already concluded that Marquis Algernon got the news of Alain Boden being a hostage in Boswel so he became restless and wanted to confirm things himself.
After pondering for a while, Huvel wrote a reply letter to invite the marquis to Boswel. Huvel liked smart people. If Marquis Algernon wanted to submit to him by himself after learning what happened to Marquis Boden, it would save Huvel a lot of time and effort.
After discussing about the matters they needed to prepare to accommodate the marquis with Chance, Huvel went to the lowest floor of the dungeon with Flying Leaf Nymph. He explained the nymph the functions of human organs as much as he knew. He speculated that the main reason Flying Leaf Nymph was not good at making potions was because he did not have a clear understanding of the homos' bodies and the ingredients used in potions.
Since he had done a scan on the nymph's body, Huvel knew that nymphs and homos had different body construction. The potions made for homos would not work the same on nymphs. First of all, the Flying Leaf Nymph did not even have a complete digestive system or excretion system. It was no wonder that he did not have those body systems as he did not need to eat to live.
The same went for reproductive system. Nymphs do not reproduce like homos do so the Flying Leaf Nymph doesn't have the organs related to reproduction. However, it seemed like he could feel the sexual desire somehow.
"I'm curious how nymphs are born," asked Huvel to the nymph, "since you don't have the specific organs to bear babies like homos."
"W… Why are you asking things like… like making babies?" the nymph stuttered.
"I thought you are an adult nymph but you don't even know about that. I guess you are still a child."
"Who is a child?! Of course, I know how. They just make love using their mana and a child was born when their mana completely mixed into one!"
"It sounds like a child story. Maybe, you don't really know. Is it right?"
"I'm telling the TRUTH! Don't treat me like a child!"
"Okay. Okay. I'll believe you."
Of course, Huvel thought that it was just nonsense. But he did not believe he would not get anything more by asking the nymph. He left the nymph in the basement after teaching him the recipe of his healing potion.
