"In a matter of time, this will all be over."
April said,
She was standing at the balcony of the building with her hands on the rail. She had taken advantage of his careless footsteps and now he could only make himself visible.
He took his time watching her from behind, she was wearing a white dress and the evening breeze rumpled through it. Her hair was braided into cornrows and it looked perfect.
Stace placed his hands on the rail as he stood just beside her. He could see her eyes fixed on the world in front of her and her face was of a worried countenance.
"We can stop him."
He told her.
"If we left this fight to them ; God and the angels, Caesar would have destroyed enough before he was eliminated."
She said,
" We wouldn't let him."
He said,
"Hmm. This world is not our own."
She said,
"But we are a part of it. We can't deny that. We cannot sit back and let the enemy snatch it right from us."
