SIDNEY DID SOME SOUL SEARCHING

Hearing Vanda saying, "Chrystal, I am just here for a few days because I came to see GP and Uncle Richard.

Following Vanda to GP's room, and enters after Vanda, hoping to get an update on exactly what was happening with this family.

Sitting silently listening to Vanda and the old geezer speaks she relates how the business was progressing in New York.

"GP, I was worried about you when Remmy came and told me what was happening. Is Remmy managing the business in New York?"

"Yes, he said Vince gave him and Carlos a promotion so from now on they will be visiting each of the offices for a few days each. So Remmy is in New York and Carlos to Argentina for a few days."

"Okay, that is good news, I know your brother can be hard at times but he is doing good work."

"I know GP, and I am proud of him when I see how the manager has the business running in New York.

I believe Vince is very smart for having to send us to visit the other offices to have those managers on their toes.

Now I know you are tired child, so hurry and check your Uncle Richard he hasn't been on his feet for a few days and he must be bored."

Chrystal looks at them wondering why is Uncle Richard in bed, has something happened to him and I haven't heard anything.

When GP calls out to Chrystal, "Chrystal my child, how have you been?"

"GP, I am good."

"You seem very quiet."

"Sorry, but this week has been very tiring."

"Okay, well try and get some rest."

"I will GP and you do the same."

GP notices the smug smile on her face and wonders what she must be planning now. When Charles was taking me to the clinic last week he was relating to me what he has seen, and it seem his suspicion makes a lot of sense.

Chrystal has been making mischief since that child had gotten married. If only I had known she was so wicked I wouldn't have put the child through this many heartaches.'

Vanda turns around reaching the door only to see GP wiping his eyes. 'Wondering what heartache he is stifling, I know he has a closeness with Sidney, I hadn't said anything seeing Chrystal with me because Remmy was suggesting that it seems Chrystal had something to do with her kidnapping.

Is that why she keeps nagging me to come home? She isn't getting any information or did she realise they suspect her? Either way, I won't be revealing anything, I have already disappointed my family so many times because of her, it is time I fix my mistakes.'

Vanda returns to GP, "GP, I know I have made many mistakes in the past and I am sorry."

"I know child, we all make mistakes." GP, thought, 'It's a good thing Vanda wasn't here or she might have gotten involved with Chrystal's scheme.'

Meanwhile, Sidney dropped out of the taxi and took another taxi to Escondido, reaching her destination she felt safe away from everyone, so she can think more clearly away from Vince.

'His nearness makes me want to do things I know will bring me more pain and heartache.'

Walking slowly to the Hall, feeling this heavy burden, she just wants to drop off. 'Wanting so much to believe that what he was saying is the honest truth.'

Waving to the watchman as she enter the premises, then she went and sat down in a dark secluded corner away from where the watchman was.

Knowing Vince might think she will be here and might come to check, and if he does he won't see me.

Closing her eyes knowing she, herself had fallen in love with him, and it is becoming more painful as the days go by, but revealing to him her love is detrimental because he is constantly betraying her and that is just unbearable.

When those tugs kidnapped me hearing what they say Miss Goodard wanted and what was her plan for me and Vince put fear in my heart, yet when he caught me and took me to the doctor I felt safe.'

Brushing the tears away, becoming angry with herself for pondering on something she knew will end up being a disaster.

As memories flooded back of those horrible nightmares that seems to suck the very life out of her, it was only the whispering and comforting of his words while he embraced me that gives me strength these past few weeks.

Lord, could it be he knows nothing about it and I misunderstand what they were saying but what caused me to say it was a trap?

And all this time he never took advantage of me although our bodies were touching each other, when I think of what I have heard about his plan it makes me so scared and confused not knowing when they will attack next.

Just supposed they said that for me to believe that Vince is a part of their plan and wants to separate us. Reflecting on the many times he keep saying he love me, he sound so sincere and honest.

But why is it when he is with Miss Chrystal I see another side of him? I know from the day I got married she keep making mischief.

Yet hearing the tugs speaking about Miss Goodard I know she had plotted to kill me. I must find out who is Miss Goodard and what have I done to her for she to want me dead?'

I never thought about it before but could it be she was involved in the first car accident? Could it be someone from his office? Oh dear God, I need Your help, Father, if I stay in this marriage I could lose my life.

Vince may or maynot be involved but he is part of the reasons I am being attacked. He won't lose anything but my family will be heartbroken. What should I do Lord? Haley, mom and gramma is my main concern.
