Losing Faith

Forgetfulness took most of her, when she called him up. She had forgotten who he was. He never wanted her presence in his life. But she yearned for those moments which they shared together. She had her number stored in her phone. Calling him was little necessary. She indulged in immersive thinking, before she gave a call to him.

"Should I call Him now?" she pondered

Her happiness knew no bounds when she called him up. She heard a voice from the other side.

"Hello, who is this?" Dev enquired.

"Hi. I am Samaira speaking. Remember we had met each other in Learner Coaching Institute".

"I remember, he said. And how are you doing?"

Samaira remained silent. She continued after a while and tendered an apology. "I apologize to you for whatever wrong I had done to you".

"Apology? Why are you apologizing and for what?'

"Apologies for the words spoken to you if they might have ever caused you any injury and for leaving the project halfway".
