"Behind Rose-Tinted Glasses", is a compilation of short stories featuring women, mostly of Igbo heritage, who try to overcome the challenges set before them. Will their fight against society, their imperfections, and their demons, be worth the while? Will the relationships they form be their redemption, or their end.

“How dare you” s, filled my head, beating me down with full force to the ground. Where was Nene? Couldn’t she hear his voice? Why could she not hear it? The whole village must have heard it by now.
