Dark Moon Pack.

The following day at school Mika was early, she was sitting on the stairs at the school entrance while looking at her phone and listening to music. She was disturbed by the scent of her mates, it somehow amused her to have a certain reaction.

She suddenly felt mischievous and wanted to see how Landon and Lucian will react when they meet. She knew Lucian was aware he had another mate because he was present when Sebastian called the Dark Moon Pack.

The first to arrive was Lucian and Anna, they slowly walked towards the school entrance. Lucian noticed Mika immediately, however it wasn't the same for his sister. As they got closer to her, Lucian couldn't help but get nervous. Yesterday Mika acted so indifferently as if they were not mated, this made him nervous. He was scared of her rejecting them. She was very important to them, they practically nothing without her.

They were meant to be with her. They might ignore facts, but she was the reason they existed. She was their lifeline.

"Good Morning, Mika" Lucian greeted, it was at this point Anna noticed her existence.

Due to their first encounter and disagreements, she couldn't help herself but feel frightened. Hence her complexion became pale. She was scared, Anna was afraid of this girl.

"Morning gorgeous, you look lovely this morning," she complimented, but there was no smile on her face.

She looked at him straight into the eyes. Lucian was getting shy, wondering what she was staring at.

"Relax Lucian. Are you excited to meet Landon, I can't wait to see his face." Lucian frowned.

He also realised Mika liked seeing people miserable, it was a bit alarming. How will they survive to live with such a psycho?

"Y-yeah, I guess." Mika chuckled. "You are too cute and too innocent for this life Lucian. Fate is cruel to you darling. Well, he's going to be here in a minute."

Exactly a minute later Landon and his friends got out of their cars and approached the entrance. Landon was distracted by his cousin Jonathan bragging about a hottie that he met last night, so he didn't notice in time there was a new person and mostly his mate. Mika thought it would be funny ruining Jonathan's day so, she said.

"Well, I think she is blind to have thought you are hot. I mean look at you, it's like your father was disgusted when he was fucking your mother. So, you came out just like the expression he had when he planted his seed. Seriously, if that's how he expresses his ecstasy, I am afraid it's worse with anger."

Others laughed but Jonathan didn't find it funny, his heart sank to his stomach. He looked like he was going to cry at any second, Mika showed no regret in her eyes but she knew that she hurt him bad. It wasn't her intention to do so, but it happened.

It was very mean of her, sometimes she forgot that people have different senses. Jonathan looked like the sensitive type, people needed to be careful with him, lest they hurt his feelings and serve their tires.

"Fuck" She sighed in disappointment and a bit of understanding. Hence her approaching him.

She stood before him and looked him in the eyes. Jonathan found himself being hugged tightly, hence Landon growled and Lucian was aggravated by her touching another man, mainly in their presence, let alone hug him. His scent will be all over her.

Mika whispered in Jonathan's ear, though the voice was cold it sounded sincere.

"I was joking, I guess I went too far, besides I like you. I predict you and I, are gonna be best friends. You should consider yourself very lucky Jonathan." She casually said this left Jonathan in shock.

"You smell so nice too," said Mika

With that being said, Mika sat back down and looked up at her mates, who were glaring at her. Damn, all this teasing and joking around made her miss Landon's reaction when he saw Lucian.

Fuck it! Well, she must accept this fate and move on. At this moment her mates were not pleased with the hugging shit, she did.

"What? I hurt his feelings. I was just comforting him, the dude needed some loving. Besides, he is going to be my best friend." she said.

"I find him entertaining and easy to tease. Believe me, that is not something that happens often." This was a true statement for Mika. She never really find people interesting enough to forge a friendship. Jonathan was the first, this meant he was special.

"You did not have to hug him," Said Lucian

"Yeah, now you smell like him," Said Landon

Mika looked at them bored. How cute of them but damn were they cling.

"I am going to hug him every day and many times more. Get used to it and get over yourselves. Jealous much, fucking unbelievable."

Though she was not happy with their jealousy, she still found it very cute and amusing. She understood where they were coming from, but she was not one to show her lovey-dovey emotions.

School went on, as usual. People were busy gossiping and speculating about nonsense. Mika couldn't concentrate with her two mates in school. She was agitated and felt she was losing her wits. Her inner beast was restless and she wanted out. It had been a long time she went for a run. She decided during lunchtime, she will let her wolf loose.

She found the lessons boring, of course, this was of her advanced education and IQ. High school was nothing but a child play to her. Mika abruptly stood up and left the room and ran into the woods. Once amid the forest, she let herself go, calling to her inner beast.

She landed on all fours and sprinted into the deep forest. This was in Landon's territory, she loved the smell of different flowers. The feeling of the airbrushing against her fur, as she browsed around the Dark Moon Pack homestead.

She ran for hours. When she came back, the school was letting out, so she headed for her truck. She was about to drive away when she noticed Landon was walking towards her truck, and he seemed to be rather angry.

'Well, I guess I kinda disrespected him running around his territory without asking.' Mika thought.

"Where the fuck have you been?" he asked rudely and harshly. Mika's eyes twinkled, she was amused.

How cute? He was worried about her. She ignored the part where he disrespected her. "Running of course," she replied blankly and bluntly.

"It was a very nice run, I must warn you though. Your pack guards are useless, I ran in your land for almost a day and no one noticed. I thought maybe that is why you were angry. Only to find out you were worried about me." she tease and mocked him at the same time, this made Landon feel unpleasant.

"Who the hell do you think you are? I am stronger than you and higher than you. You dare to mock me?" he was fuming at this point.

"My God darling, ain't you one raging beast? Truly I could care less about your status, I call the shots. I told Sebastian this already yesterday. He wasn't pleased but he will get used to it, so will you."

What the hell does she mean by that? Landon was lost in confusion.

"I am an Alpha, I do not answer to anyone," he said angrily

"Sorry to burst your bubble hun, but you will answer to me. Get used to it and get over it. I call the shots, bye now." She left him there seething in anger. "Don't do anything stupid baby boo," Mika said whilst driving away.

Landon's friends and cousin were shocked by her behaviour.

"Is she fucking serious? Who the hell does she think she is?" said Landon in anger.

"I would listen to her if I were you," said Lucian, after all, Mika was a golden wolf. It would do Landin well if he behaved.

This was going to be a long battle. How can luna mate 3 leaders together? It was insanity in its all forms.

"She is one powerful being and the most dominant in this union. You really shouldn't anger her" Landon glared at him with an unsatisfactory expression.

Was this little mate taking sides?

"Are you saying I am not?" he growled out, Lucian flinched a little.

"Oh no, you sure are but she's more. That is a fact, I'm sorry you don't like it," said Lucian and walked away. He didn't want to fight with Landon. As an alpha, he had a right to feel challenged and aggrieved. This was an expected reaction for any leader, no one wanted people to covert their crown.

"This is fucking ridiculous. Who the hell do they think they are? How dare they walk away from me?"

His friends and cousin could do nothing but keep quiet, even though they were dying to laugh. It was so funny looking at him fuming after being teased and taught by his mates.

He was acting like a spoiled brat, throwing a tantrum and everything. Deep down they understood his behaviour, it is never easy to admit someone is more powerful than you. Especially for the Alpha wolf-like Landon, but he gotta admit the girl is tough, sexy as hell and fucking scary.
