Mika shows a bit of affection.

Looking at her mate in astonishment, Millicent couldn't find better words to explain her shock. This has never happened before and her son was the first.

"A golden wolf Reese? Are you certain?" Perhaps her mate was mistaken. "Yes, I am sure. Who do you think saved you from your sister and her wizard boyfriend?" her mouth almost hit the floor. What did he say now?

So, that demanding and dominant voice was her? She got a nerve speaking to her mother in law with that kind of attitude.

"Don't tell me she is overbearing and dominant!" said Millicent with concern.

"She is worse, she doesn't know what sensitivity means. She is way too blunt and straightforward. Many may take it as arrogance, others as complete disrespect." he chuckled. "The girl holds darkness inside her heart. I hope her mates will make her learn how to love. In her way, she cares but she doesn't know the feeling, or she does not like it, she's just shutting it down."

The girl sounded complicated in Millicent's ears. This was very concerning.

"As if that was not enough, the Luna had to mate him with that old goose Sebastian," said Reese with displeasure. "The vampire king?" Millicent asked appalled.

"The one and only." He was not liking this topic, it was changing his mood quickly. "That's just crazy Reese. How can Luna mix those, together?" She asked in confusion.

"Don't ask me," he said shrugging his shoulders. "This doesn't make sense. How about the 3rd?" she asked not knowing what to expect.

"He's human," he said amused.

Millicent just looked at him like he grew a second head. This was just unbelievable, she should just wait until she witnesses this madness on her own. Such power in one place is not good.

It is evident something more dangerous was laming around, something big was going to happen. This was the only explanation she had. Just thinking about all of this made her have a headache.

In the cellars Linda was moaning in agony, the pain was the only thing she felt. She stretched where she felt it itching, she massage where she felt swollen. It felt like days but it had only been a few hours. This was torture beyond what she had given that bitch of a sister. She will make sure she suffers once she escaped there.

And that girl, Mika.

She hated her with every fibre and cell in her body, she will make her wish they never met. She will enjoy breaking her into the little piece until she couldn't recognize herself. Who the hell did she think she was when she treated her that way? Worse of all, she did this in front of her pack.

Who the hell did she think she was to humiliate her, to the point she had to beg?

This built more resentment inside Linda's dark heart. She hated that girl with everything within her, she was going to enjoy her fall. How dare she humiliate her? Did she know who Linda was?

Linda grovelled in her hate.

'Ha. My accomplices are coming for me and all these fools will see their fall.' They will see hell, she will make sure of it. All of those fools standing there watching her being humiliated. They did nothing.

Nothing!

Didn't all these past years matter to them? She had taken care of them and made sure they had better lives. She even executed those weak pathetic omegas.

How can they not see her hard work? How can they not see her devotion?

Linda was getting agitated the more she thought of the betrayal. She will get her revenge and she swore in her life they will know her wrath. She was going to make all of them pay.

Mika was very good at hiding her feelings but she was very overwhelmed, even a low EQ person like herself cannot stand being in a room with all of them. They were driving her crazy. The hormones were all over the room and she could tell Lucian was having the worst of it, she had a soft spot for him. She didn't understand why, but he was very special more than any of them. At least that is what she saw when looking at him.

Perhaps it is the innocence around him, the boy was pure as snow. So, she walked back from the window and took a seat next to him. She then put her right arm around his shoulder and held him close to her. She felt his heart jump in surprise and he turned to look at her with wonder. Mika ignored him and focused her eyes on his father. She found him interesting because he was old as her vampire in-laws. This meant he was a part vampire but human as well.

What did her father in law create when he bit him?

"So, father in law. What do you call yourself? I mean it is not natural to live for centuries as you did and still look the same." Mika said with curiosity.

"I am not sure. I never felt like naming myself. I always believed I am a turned. Even though I didn't become a vampire, I have their qualities." He looked down when said this.

"So, it is a given all your children will have a long life like yourself. Also, they will have mates like yourself and Lucian here."

"WHAT?" asked Mrs Allison

Okay, looks like the old man did not tell his family how old he is.

Mika chuckled.

She could feel her precious mate was still staring at her. He was not believing his eyes, he thought it was wishful thinking but with the way everybody looked around him, it was not a dream. She was showing a bit of affection.

Mika snickered.

Are they all for real? They were all more focused on her being supportive a little bit to her mate, it was not like she was eating his mouth or something.

"Shit," exclaimed Sebastian and Landon groaned. She looked at Lucian who was dying with embarrassment. She arched her eyebrow, she guessed she shared the imaginary images she had of her kissing Lucian.

Sigh...

This was ridiculous, it was just an imagination. Why do they look so flustered? "I think you should stop now, this is fucking killing us," said Sebastian.

"What are you on about?" asked Mika. "The more you get confused and try to analyse what made us react, the more it gets EXPLICIT" growl out Landon.

"OH!" damn I am a tease, even when I am not trying, it just happens naturally.

Laughed Lucian.

"Mika, you are something else," he said while laughing at his mates' puzzled looks.
