Damien and the others stood there looking at Mika for two hours straight. It was scary to others because it seemed like she turned into a frozen statue. You couldn't even tell if she was breathing. Her beautiful eyes looked like a still frozen lake with no life but hunger for chaos.

Mika's beauty was bewitching to the extent you would doubt yourself, it is was normal for wolves to be beautiful but her beauty was out of this world.

Looking at her now without the cold voice and arrogant replies, she looked like an angel. It was a breathtaking view. The only bad thing about Mika was her sarcastic remarks, the cold manner she always shows around everyone. Mostly the nonchalant way she speaks with everyone, it's quite demeaning.

"Is she okay?" asked Landon anxiously. Even if this mate of his made him mad most of the time, he liked her and he didn't want any harm to go her way.

It was only over ten hours since they've met, but she already caused chaos. He was really worried this was just the begging of it all. He didn't understand much about Golden wolves but they were always described as devils and madly sadistic.

According to what he witnessed today at the trial grounds, that shit was just fucking scary. The woman was killing herself by banging her head on the floor while screaming her guts in pain. It was as if the banging was relieving her of another pain.

Then came her suspended in the air, that was scary as hell. Imagine yourself hanging in the air with nothing to hang on, then when the hold is released the only thing that's left is the bones breaking. Unless the one punishing you have mercy and put you down nicely.

"I am worried as well, this is too much time. She has never gone more than an hour." Damien professed.

"Yes, this is worrying. It must be something important because the air around her is very uninviting, she seems to be on edge. I hope it's not something gruesome. I wouldn't want to experience her anger again in one day. This seems worse than Linda's cruelty." said John.

Just as he finished speaking, Mika moved. She slowly regained her consciousness, she turned around to see the pack was around her and looking worried. She looked at them coldly and snorted.

"Father, please take mother to rest. It is not good for her frail body to be here in the cold. This should have been your priority." She said with scrutiny. Though Reese was not pleased with his daughter in law's way of talking, he was happy with the way she addressed him and the care she showed for his mate.

"Jackson, lead the pack to the house and wait in the meeting room. Sebastian, I need your younger brother to be here within an hour." Mika continued to command.

"Landon, go get Lucian this instant. Papa Alison, calm your wife because her emotions are annoying me."

The girl just didn't care about others feelings.

"John, I will need your assistance with something and this will be good for everyone," she said mysteriously

Mika sometimes is very cryptic and mysterious. She is going to visit the mother in law's pack after the ritual is done, this was very important. She will show them wonders. Those fools.

Everyone was busy with the work they were assigned to and Sebastian was busy linking his brother. It was a good thing they were royals because this range was impossible for normal vampires. Plus his brother was weird, most people didn't understand him.

"Cam, track where I am and get here as in now," Sebastian said to his brother Camren.

"What? ARE YOU IN TROUBLE? Do I need to come with back up?" his brother asked anxiously.

"No no, I am sorry. I didn't mean to worry you, I am not in trouble but my mate says you're needed here?" said Sebastian.

"WHAT? DID YOU FIND YOUR MATE? I AM THERE NOW" he said in excitement.

Camren is the only person who understood everyone from his family. No matter how hard they try to hide their thoughts and feelings, he still felt them and heard their darkest and scariest secrets.

It wears a toll on him, but he is used to it by now. However, it still is scary to hear how a person hates another person, to a point where it's unimaginable.

When he met his mate, she was a wolf and hated his kind. The disgust he felt, the curses she had in her mind. She loathed him to a point she wanted to kill him there and then. The girl had no feelings for him, none whatsoever.

He was on the verge of breaking when he heard them. It was a stab to his heart over and over again. He couldn't take it. He fled and left her there, when he reached a nearby river stream, he collected his emotions.

He understood where she was coming from, his kind killed her family. It was only fair that she rejects him and they go their different ways. When she looked at him she had cold eyes and the anger could be seen. She was utterly disgusted by him, so he teleported back to where they met. She was still standing there motionlessly. He found the courage and spoke to her.

"You can reject me, I can see you are not accepting our bond and I understand where you coming from," he said to her and gave her his details.

She looked at him for some time, as if she wanted to put together the pieces of the puzzle. She didn't believe he gave the correct information, but still, she didn't hesitate to reject the damned leech.

"I, Sarah Manson reject you Camren Vladislav as my mate." she spat out with vengeance. Camren looked at her and smiled.

"I, Carmen Vladislav accept your rejection, Sarah Manson," he said lovingly and with longing.

He stood there looking at her clutching her chest where she felt the pain. To him it was like double edge sword slitting him a fatal wound, he was minimizing her pain. He wanted it all, he wanted to feel all her pain. So, he took it all away from her. He had nothing else to say, so he left her there standing with a smug on her face.

He only accepted the cruelty she gave to him. He felt he deserved it.
