No remorse or guilt.

Sarah was caught and there was no way for her to hide her dirt anymore. It was good that things were in the clear now. She hated to hide her true nature in this crappy place anyway.

No one was more surprised than Camren to see this woman here. It looks like he was saved when she chose to reject him. Now he was more grateful than feeling sorry for himself. Perhaps this is the reason why his sister-in-law invited him here.

He was convinced his sister-in-law was a tyrant but it seems, not to be so.

Ain't wolves heartless anyway?

She helped him this way and he will forever be grateful, to think he took all the pain for such a cruel person.

"Yes, it is. So what?" she was unapologetic.

It was expected, if she had any heart she wouldn't have sent her son there in the first place.

It was no different for other pack members who realised what their beloved family members had done. It made them question themselves for not being able to see their real cruelty. Perhaps they had seen it, but they refused to believe the people they loved can be so animalistic.

"Are you for real right now? Don't you realise what you have done?" asked the daughter.

"You neglected the lives of thousands, for your stupid ambitions. If you felt this pack doesn't offer the things you wanted, you could've just easily left and become a rogue, since you're acting like one.

Why involve innocent people? Your children?" the girl was appalled and utterly disturbed by her mother's doings.

"Why should I care about anyone else? I think my life is more important than anyone. All these packs need to realise we are superior to those humans and why should we be the ones hiding, not them?

It is ridiculous that we have to live in fear of being discovered. So, anyone who stands in the way must be eliminated. This pathetic pack is just like that.

Linda was a breath of fresh air here, she knew what was best and she had the same ambitions as us. So, why not support her?" said Sarah an emotionless voice and face.

"Sarah is right. What gives any of you, the right to question our loyalty? We are animals, why pretend we are humans? We are predators and they are the prey, yet they are treated like Gods.

It's high time they know their place. I am sick of hiding my nature because I am afraid of being found. It is just ridiculous," said one of the elders.

"So, you think your cruelty is justifiable?" Mika asked.

"Of course, we did nothing wrong. Omegas are weak and there is no place for them in the pack. Their only part is to do labour.

Since they cannot fight and defend themselves, the least they can do is work for their food, right?

If they fail doing even that, what is the point of having them? They might as well join humans and be good for nothing." Said another elder.

Camren couldn't help himself but laugh. He could hear their thoughts. These people were hopeless and insane.

"They are hopeless Mika, just deal with them. It's annoying listening to their irrational thinking. They are nothing but savages, more like rabid dogs really." he said.

"What are you doing here, and what gives you the right to say anything here?" asked Sarah.

"Ah!... Sarah, my ex-mate. Boy ain't I happy you rejected me back then. Otherwise, I would be like your poor family right now," he said with relief and a pleasant smile was plastered on his face.

"You went good enough for me leecher," said Sarah with some pride and arrogance in her voice.

"Don't get it wrong, doll. You're the one who ain't worth it. What a sad ending you will have and you still think you made good choices. I pity you. You're a fool and you will die as one too." Retorted Camren.

His remark made Sarah angry.

"Do you think this pack will welcome you with open arms? The thing they hate the most, are leeches like yourself. Are you feeling proud now?" authored Sarah in anger.

"Ah, Sarah darling! Your statement might be true but, it doesn't change facts. If you think stating the obvious will break my heart, sorry to let you down.

I already know where I stand, and I don't feel any conflicts. Some people are more open-minded than your narrow-minded self. Besides, you never know what the future folds.

Well, unless you're gifted like my sister in law." he bragged.

Mika glared at Camren. Stupid vampire disclosing my specialities. It seems I will have to punish him a little when we are alone. Since he wants revenge for being rejected, I will not be cruel.

Camren shivered when he saw the look Mika gave him, he wished he could read her thoughts. It was frustrating that he was blocked, he really couldn't hear a thing from her.

This woman is very strong.

"Let's not waste our time here, I still have many things to do," Mika said.

"I will carry the execution here and this should be a lesson for every one of you. I apologise for not being a forgiving person, I detest people who harm children. So, I will just kill them," said Mika.

"Is it not right to put them in prison? Killing them might not send a good message to the pack members," suggested Landon.

"I agree. They will think we don't forgive members and any mistake is punished by death," said Sebastian.

"No, this is the right decision. They're hopeless. Even some rogues are not this cruel, you're only seeing the surface. You have not seen what they have done. If you had, you'd not question this decision," said Lucian.

"Correct brother in law, they've gone beyond redemption and they are not to be forgiven.

Lettin' them go to prison will just make things more complicated, as they will have more ambitions.

They will only think they have been wronged, psychopaths like them ain't deserving of second chances. They don't show any remorse or regrets.

Why should we feel sorry for them?" said Camren.

"Well said. I will not have to repeat, what has been explained. This decision is final," said Mika.

"Pain, fire, and memories," Mika spit out these words, and hell was bestowed on them.

She condemned them into misery. Their cries echoed on the trial grounds, as they were teleported there.

Their insides felt like they were boiling, the worst of all, was the memories of those they have killed. They all came back to get revenge.

They felt immense pain, scratching themselves to relieve the aching and pinches they felt. It was as if, this was the way they can relieve themselves of the pain.
