Lucas, Jammie and Lea, were still conversing with one another when Lucas's phone rang. Lucas took it out of his pocket and frowned when he saw it was Brandon calling him. Could something have happened?

So he hurriedly answered, "Hey! Is everything okay?" he asked in a worried voice.

"No, things are bad this side. This is the reason why I called you." Again Lucas frowned in confusion and worry. "What happened Brandon?"

"Mike's family found out his mother was not his real mother, but she kidnapped his mother more than two decades ago."

"WHAT?" he yelled in shock. Everyone in the cafeteria looked at him and his friends were not left behind.

"Long story short, some witch called Jessica used her as a guinea pig for poison tests so..."

"Did you just say, Jessica?" he asked in a dangerous voice.

When his twin brother who was not sitting far from them heard this and his tone, he knew there was trouble. He stood up and walked to their table. He sat down next to Lea. This was the first. Though Chris and Lucas were twins, they looked different and they liked different things. So, they had different friends as well.

Lea knew something was seriously wrong when she saw him join them.

"Yes, Jessica. So, Simon said you and your brother can help with taking out the poison. He, his mom and Oliver have started to heal her for the wounds and removing the shackles she had. But they cannot help with the poison," Brandon was afraid Lucas will refuse.

"So, we require your help." Lucas looked at his brother and said, "I will talk to Chris first and then I will get back to you with a reply." He couldn't decide for his brother but he was going to help no matter what.

"What is happening?" asked Chris.

"Jessica tested poison using someone as a guinea pig. The damage is over two decades. So, her body is filled with toxins and she needs to be rehabilitated. The poison will take at least six months to get it all out. The damage it has done also cannot be confirmed at this moment."

"So?" Chris asked emotionlessly.

"It's Mike's mother. Brandon wanted to know if we can help."

"No," Chris said with finality and anger in his voice.

"Fine you won't help, but I will help," Lucas answered with seriousness in his voice.

"This has nothing to do with us. They should deal with their problems on their own. Why involve us?" Chris again said with anger.

Before Lucas could answer, Lea, beat him to it.

"If they had means of getting this resolved they would have done so. Doesn't that spell it out for you? What's the use of having abilities to help others but be stingy and refuse to help. Shouldn't saving lives be a priority than focusing on some grudges?" Lea has no idea why she acted so or why she spoke so, but she acted on instinct.

Chris was infuriated by Lea's statement. He was fuming with anger. Lea knew Chris was not obligated to help and he had a right to refuse, but she still felt she should say something. This was for a good cause.

"Shut the hell up, you stupid bitch. You know nothing." Lea laughed at this, "So what if I know nothing? At least I am not letting my stupidity control me. Your hate, anger and resentment will be your downfall buddy."

She could care less of what Chris thought of her. Mike's mother needed help, so she felt she should convince this guy.

"Jammie, go with Lucas. I will request leave for you both. Mike needs your support right now." She ignored the seething Chris next to her and didn't allow him to say anything in retaliation.

The two listened to Lea and left the school in a hurry. This was witnessed by many, the supernaturals were impressed with her instinct to command. Lea knew nothing of their world but she unknowingly acted as a Luna to protect and order her people.

She was now a queen and the luna of the wolves, the people she spoke with, were her second and third command. She commanded them, but she didn't even realise it.

Chris could feel power radiate from Lea, the pressure he felt was overwhelming. He didn't hate it but was not that accepting of it, either. This was very confusing to him.

"You should work on your anger and judgement. I don't think you would want me to judge Lucas or your other family members based on your way of behaviour." Lea said whilst standing up to leave.

Before she left she said, "Based on your previous reaction, I think this Jessica person was the one in the wrong. So how is helping Mike's mother have to do with her actions? Also, why should she not be helped because of this Jessica person's doings? Should she die for someone else's crimes?"

Lea left Chris to wallow in his thoughts. He knew he was being childish and unreasonable. Firstly, the woman was a wolf not a witch and secondly, she was also a victim. Plus, this would be a good way to start a relationship with the royal pack. His mother has been thinking of ways to get them as allies and this was a good opportunity.

So in the end he decided to go and help. This meant now they all have the same enemy and he will have to meet that mate of his. He was not gay and when he started to see his mate in his vision and knew he was a guy, he was mad and hated him even. It happened two years ago and he knew his mate was a part caster, also was related to Jessica.

He shared this with his mother, and he expected her to be repulsed and against of this mating, mainly because of Jessica. But to his surprise, his mother was accepting and told him, that not all people are dangerous and evil because of their blood relations. This made him see things differently. He accepted that his mate was related to that evil woman but he was having a hard time with his sexuality.

This was the main reason he hid from him. He was not aware of his brother being gay and when he first saw him kissing Brandon a week ago, he was in shock. He was surprised though he didn't find him disgusting. So, he realised he was accepting of gay people, but he didn't want to be gay. However, he was very much in love with his mate and he could never deny that.

He has seen the man for over two years, in his dreams and real life. He sometimes couldn't help himself but seek for him. Once he was out of the school premises, he searched for his brother's location whilst looking around for witnesses. He didn't want people to see him teleport, especially humans. When he confirmed the place his brother was, he looked around one last time to make sure he was in a clearer. Then he teleported to the royal pack.
