The Aftermath [4]

The next morning when the guards went to get the traitors for the trail they found Lydia dead with her body sucked out badly by the insects. They couldn't help but vomit with the sight they saw, she was unrecognisable. It was as if she died a long time ago, they ate all the inside and they came for the outside. The pain she must've gone through, their queen was really cruel but Lydia deserved it nonetheless.

If you know how someone is burnt by acid, she was like that and there were few dead guards also. They looked like zombie skeletons. They had no blood in their bodies and the skin was black as if something sucked them dry. But they were still better than Lydia as they were still recognisable and they had all their parts besides the blood, of course...
