I forgot to update yesterday since it's my youngest brother's birthday.
Yeah, he was born on the night of Christmas, pretty awesome you know? Since we can celebrate his birthday along with Christmas too.

(3rd POV) {Day 8?}
After a long time, Shayla and her group have gone deeper into the ocean, they have met with quite a lot of Leviathan-class monsters but none of them is high-rank.
Due to sheer luck, the group of a child, a snake, a phoenix, an AI and a system was able to drive the robot and get slowly get down to the deepest point of the ocean without any surprise element like in an anime.
"Aqua, how much energy do we have left now? I think we have been using the robot for a day or more already, I don't think our energy reserves are any but high." Shayla asked the Ai.
[Report: Our energy are around 40% at this point, if you guys continue pouring your mana into the mech then we can last for about a day or more at this rate]
"Is that so... then what depth are we at right now Aqua?"
[We are falling down the abyss rift named by the humans, this rift is approximately 14100m deep and it's the house of many leviathan-class monsters. But strangely, my radar can't pick up any Leviathan class monster or any sea creature signal for the whole day]
Shayla understands the situation... slowly then start to discuss something with her daughter. In the end, they ended up agreeing with Shayla to go even deeper and try to hatch the ancient leviathan egg.
What Shayla is thinking about is easy to understand, if they have a leviathan on their side then exploring the deep ocean will be easier and she will also have another pet, children's thinking I suppose.
When Shayla takes out the leviathan's egg, the AI system immediately gets triggered.
[Warning, Warning. Leviathan-class creature detected inside of of the mech, please be careful!]
"No Aqua it isn't a leviathan, it's just an egg." Shayla tried to calm the AI down and hold the egg in front of the camera for the AI to scan it.
[Ancient leviathan egg confirmed, due to the life signal it's giving off, I think this egg will hatch in about a day or more]
Shayla thanked the AI and jumped on the nearby bed while hugging the egg, "Now I'm going to sleep with my new baby, all of you will be in charge of the controlling now." Shayla commanded her pet and put on the blanket to sleep.
... 'Hey sister, do you remember the time when mom is still holding us in her hand whenever we sleep?" Hebi asked the phoenix. 'How could I forget that moment, just like you, I wanted to experience it again but our size grow too fast, that can't be helped.' Akatori shook her head and look at the leviathan's egg.
'At least I will become a big sister soon.' the phoenix said

(Shayla POV) {The next day}
Darkness...
Even in my dream, everything I see is the same darkness I saw every day. However, inside my dream, the darkness feels nice and comfortable somehow. It feels like... home?
The darkness always greets me everywhere I go, it's my first friend, the author is the second.

Sometimes I hate the darkness but sometimes I love being one with the darkness, the feeling is so familiar and warm, just like-

I'm pretty sure that Leviathan are sea creatures, right Aria-san?
[Yes they are. But Abyss Leviathan are different, it can live on land for a long period and only require interaction with water once a year. The last Abyss leviathan wasnt' able to fly due to its massive size but it has always been able to do it.]
That is new... I wonder if I can ride on Abby-chan back in the future?
