Chapter 1 The Beginning

Hi I'm Melanie. I know what I'm about to say might sound like the beginning of a fairytale but oh well. Here it is. Once upon a time not so long ago, I was out shopping for the perfect birthday gift for my best friend's birthday. Now you should all have that perfect best friend right? They just get you. No matter how strange you might be. Does anyone know what I mean? Well I hope so. If not then maybe you'll understand some day. Anyhow I digress. Where was I? Oh yeah, I was out shopping for the perfect gift. My best friend has an unusual liking for weird and unique stuff. She has quite a collection. Most of the theme is around her favorite animal which is a wolf. Weird, right? So here I am in the mall one of my least favorite things to do. Yeesh! The crowd is horrific today. Did everyone and their parents decide to come on the one day that I the one who would rather be curled up with a good book at home dares to venture out?? Please if anyone out there is listening, can you help me find the perfect place to get the perfect gift right away? Pretty please? Now I tell you, no sooner than I thought those words when it seems like the perfect store just seems to be spotted out of the corner of my eye. Freaky yeah?
