Chapter 3 Maybe I was just overstressed

Wow. I'm quite shocked at what happened. Maybe I'm just overstressed and was just in a dream like state? Than I saw the bag with the decorative tissue still in my hand. Wow oh wow. I'm just going to let it go out of my mind. I then started on my way back to my car. I got into my trusty SUV. I start it and start on my way to my bestie's house. Sharla is going to be so surprised. I'm getting excited just thinking about it. So far traffic is being calm and free flowing. I see my exit coming up. I signal for my turn and take my exit. I'm so glad that everything is going so well. I pull up to Sharla's house and turn off the car. I quickly grab the bag and go to the front door and knock. Within no time at all Sharla opens up the door. We both jump into each other's arms for a big hug. I say " Happy birthday bestie!" She responds with her usual bubbly voice with "Thank you so much! Please come in!" I can't wait to see what you got me!" I than step inside her beautifully decorated house. We go to the living room. She has the most beautiful light grey couch and loveseat set. We both sit down. I then hand her the gift bag. She immediately opens it and removed the tissue. When she pulled out the clock she lets out an excited squeal. "Oh my! No you didn't! Oh I love it so much! It's awesome!! Thank you, thank you, thank you."

"Let's wind it up!" I remember what the lady said about the moon being full before winding it up. I check out the window and see a beautiful bright full moon. So I responded "Sure. Let's do it!" We both took it into our hands and we set the minute hand and the hour hand to the correct time and then we both turned the winding mechanism together. When all of a sudden.....Poof!!! We both are no longer in her house! We are in some kind of woods. WHAT..... !!!!!!;
