Ch. 108 Toph

-Kara-

"Yes, my great grandfather rose from the ground eighty percent of the Earth Kingdom Capital Banks." Mr. Beifong gloats

"That's perfect, I've been meaning to open an account here in the earth kingdom."

"Is that so? My wife can help you with that if you so choose."

"Of course." Mrs. Beifong stands up "it'll be my pleasure."

I nod at Aang as she leads me into their office where they had an old school computer setup

Seriously, the mainframe wrapped around the entire room

"Alright, do you have an existing account elsewhere?"

"Yes, actually."

"May I have the name of the bank?"

"A. Global."

…

"That's umm…" she types it into the computer "that's outside of this continent…"

"Is that a problem?"

"N-no, we just.. don't get many visitors. That's all."

Her hands began trembling as she finishes up

It's only natural a person of her caliber has reached word of my reign outside of this continent

"Alright, now your full name."

"Right." I smile "Akuma Amaterasu Kara."

"Is there a problem, Mrs. Beifong?"

"N-no um…" She types my name into the computer.

My name pops up

"Are you r-really…"

"Yes."

"Wh-what brings you a-about these parts?"

"Boredom, I suppose."

"B-boredom?"

"Relax, okay? I'm not here to cause any harm to anyone but the Nation of Fire. I dropped by to vacation a few days only to be stabbed in the back by that Ozai"

"Oh… so wh-what brings you to Gaoling?"

"Up until now I was the Great General of the North, leading the water tribe to many victories until they too were overrun by the Fire Nation"

"I decided to travel with the Avatar since, and got word of your daughter who is especially gifted in the Earth bending field."

"Who? Toph? You don't really expect us to believe our blind little Toph is capable of-"

"What? Are you implying that I'd stoop so low as to lie to you, of all people?"

"Wh-what? No, of course not." She lowers her head

"Truly so, I have no need to fabricate the words coming out of my mouth so don't ever suggest it again"

"B-but…"

I smile

"How much?"

"What? My daughter is not for sale."

"No, Beifong."

"Y-you don't mean.."

"Let's see…" I write a check "one-hundred, fifty billion?" In her currency of course

It is a mere twelve billion of our bills back home

"With it, buy every share that is not in your possession and rename the company as A. Beifong Global. I will allow your name to live on for generations, so fear not." I finished signing the check for 150 billion yuan. "Do Not disclose the new head with Anyone until you are told otherwise by Myself."

It takes her a second to take it all in

"With it, of course. You will lend me your daughter."

"Yes, I… I understand." She nods

"Good." I smile

After she writes down my banking details I wire another ten billion yuan into my account

We join everyone at the dinner table

She calls for her husband and they head for the office where she explained everything to him

Thirty minutes later they joined us outside

Mr. Beifong gives me a little nod

"Toph, is it true you have been practicing behind our backs?" He asks

"Well… yes I have."

"Do you mind displaying what you've learned, dear Toph?"

"Really?!" Her face lights up

"Of course my dear." He nods

"I've been practicing this for quite a while now"

She gets into a solid stance

She suddenly opens her eyes. She raises her hands

The ground trembles before a small platform made of solid earth rose from the ground

She slices and stomps on the ground until she finally finishes her work of art

"Toph… this is amazing." He father examine the small scale she made of Gaoling

"That isn't all." She stomps on the ground, creating a massive wall right behind herself before demolishing it just as fast "I can protect myself, I really can." She raises a boulder from the ground with ease

"Yes.. I can see that, Toph." He smiles

The following day Toph's parents let her travel with us so that she can properly teach the Avatar Earth Bending

We set up camp a few miles out and I found Toph gathering firewood

"Whua!" Toph stumbles after I catch her off guard

"What's wrong with you? I thought you could see with your feet."

"I-I can you're just.. super quiet…"

"What does that mean?"

"I mean," she points at my feet "you don't make any noise when you walk, neither does the ground tremble in the slightest."

"Is that so?"

"Where did you learn to walk like that?"

"Where'd I learn to walk?"

"You don't emit a hint of your presence. It's like you don't exist. It isn't until you speak that I can 'see' you."

Hmm

Never noticed it myself

I'm pretty cool aren't I?

"I'm not so sure. Katara says this should be enough you should join us for lunch."

"Oh.. okay…"

The way back was awkwardly silent

I noticed she was super short. Just about the same height as the girl I saw back at the swamp

Only her face is different and she looks more like a child than the other girl I saw

"Hey, Kara? Are you still there?"

"Yeah.."

"Who are you? I mean.. really…"

"What do you mean?"

"I can tell you're royalty, by the way you speak."

"Royalty? I'm flattered that you think that, Toph."

Did my speech change that much?

I suppose it's inevitable being that I was Emperor for seven-hundred years

"I'm serious. I could see how uneasy your presence made my father."

"Yes, I sensed a slight flutter in his voice."

"I've never seen him get like that. Then you managed to persuade them so easily."

…

"You're incredibly perceptive for a girl your age, Toph. Guess it's a given, being a master of your craft"

"Thanks." She smiles

"Maybe you could teach me a thing or two while you're at it with the Avatar."

"It'll be my pleasure."

…

Food was ready by the time we got to camp

After that, Toph explained the very basics to Aang so they can start first thing tomorrow morning

Soon they all went to bed and I was laying on top of Appa, staring up at the night sky after not finding a single cigar in my bag

"Wonder how long I'll last." I watch as a cloud slowly blocks the moon

"Somethings coming!" Toph breaks out of the tent she made from her bending

"What is it?" Aang and everyone sit up

I do so as well

"I don't know, it's something big. Like an avalanche except, it's not an avalanche."

"Your powers of perception are frightening." Sokka yawns

"C'mon, let's get out of here."

They load the Bison up and we quickly fly out of there

After landing a few miles away everyone got ready for camp, but by the time they fell asleep whatever it was was closing in on us again

"It's back!" Toph breaks out of her tent

"Already?" Sokka grumbles still half asleep

"They're moving fast, let's find the tallest mountain." We load Appa backup and head for the mountains

"What is it?" Katara asks

"Looks like a train."

Only it was armored and had the traction of a tank

"Train? What's that?"

"Nothing, try to get some rest" I sit on Appas head

By the time we land everyone was sound asleep on his back

I shut my eyes and listen as the tanktrain —or whatever it is— got closer

"It's here!" Toph wakes up

"Again?" Sokka groans

"Maybe they're friendly. Let's see what it is they want."

"Always the optimist." Sokka grumbles

I seriously doubt they're friendly, but I'm not sure how much longer Appa can stay awake

The train slows down and the doors pop open

"Nghk*" I grit my teeth

"What is it?" Katara asks

It was Mai Tylee and Azula

Not only that..

Azula.. she was riding on top of…

"Odin. Hey, that's my dog!"

He was also wearing my straw hat over his head, so his eyes were covered

"Not friendly. Now let's get out of here!" Everyone jumps on top of the bison

"Get out of here. I'll buy you some time!" I charge at the three

"No, we have to stick together!" Before Aang could come after me the Bison takes off

"You're Alive?!" Azula growls as she blasts the ground beside me with her lightning

I dodge Mais knives and Azula's fire

Tylee jumps off her lizard and almost takes my head off with her heel "What a relief, Lord Amaterasu."

I bump her wrist up before she'd poke my eyes out

"I thought I'd never get to see you again!"

"Yes." I pat her nape "I'm glad you're well, Tylee"

After knocking her out I catch her by the hair and set her down slowly so she doesn't scratch that beautiful face

Seriously, I'd be a shame to break it

"Odin!" I shout as he charged straight at me

He digs his feet into the ground, sending Azula flying at me

"Agk!" I catch her by the throat and quickly jerk my body around as Mai readied to stab me in the back

She halts her assault after seeing I sent Azula flying towards her

"Hey, boy." I pat Odin's shoulder

He wags his tail and jerks his head side to side trying to get a look at me

"Let's get out of here first." I take my coolie hat and plop it on my head

He barks before taking off into the forest

Once we were convinced we lost them I jump off and we roll around in the dirt

"Hehe, nice to see you too, buddy." I scratch his snout "now how about a bath?"

"Woof!" He barks

We find ourselves a nice stream and take a refreshing bath some time past midnight I began digging through his satchel and sure enough

"Beautiful."

I light my finger for the cigar I found

Once I was convinced it would stay lit I turn my attention to the woman hiding behind a tree

"Show yourself." I call out

She steps out of the shadows

She was wearing a white strapless bra that held her tits perfectly in place

It was outlined by what smelled like real gold.

As for her bottom, she wore a white cloth tied at her waist which was somewhat transparent even in the moonlight so I could see her black panties outlined in gold as well

Her hair was long, half way down her thigh as she stood

"It's a pleasure to finally meet you, Amaterasu."

"And who might you be?"

"Rhea, Titaness of Fruitfulness and Affinity"
