Days

Days of life are now exciting. I have things to look forward to, People to see, Life to live and...........

"JUSTIN! DO YOUR HOMEWORK DO YOU WANT DETENTION AGAIN" Ugh mom and homework as well. I don't like that part.

At school today as  I was just about to go to class when I

Bumped into Nicole, it was weirdly awkward and without hesitation I said, "you have a thing for notes huh" trying to sound cool. Replied saying "well I didn't think of it that way, but they *are* effective". Well can we meet somewhere else I said  curiously .

She said "nope" and that we're meeting tomorrow in the woods again.

Of course I accepted, my needs are not important.

So I'm here again but this time she was here first I was surprised yet cool with it . To be honest I felt like myself, no masks or anything just two people who who like Adae and maybe each other, I don't know hehe . There has to be some declaration right? I wanna make the first move but I'm seriously afraid of misinterpreting  the situation so I'll play it safe for now. "Wow you're eyes are beautiful" I said out of nowhere , Wow Justin, I though we were playing it safe. Well she looked into mine and said

"yours aren't as pretty though" , but she still stared at me for a while until she decide to tell me. "There is dirt on your face" she said  sounding content. "I don't love you, you know" she said blushing and then left.

I was speechless and smiling, but I felt a sudden pain, I couldn't explain.

I was feeling bad like really  bad sick wise.

I think I caught something in the woods that makes me cry and makes my chest hurt so much . I'm gonna go sleep it off, I have school tommorow.

The pain is still there and as intense as ever but I don't want to tell mom she  would ban me from going to the woods . My chest hurts so much but that's not why I want to cry or maybe it is , I don't know right now JUST WANNA GO TO SCHOOL  AND GET THIS DAY OVER WITH.

I arrived and I went to  my locker I saw,  Nicole walking towards me then turns back to where ever she came from and suddenly the pain hit and...........

sfx: Beep! Beep! Beep!

What happened?  Where am I? What are these wires for ?

"Honey? Thank God" said a familiar voice.

It was mom and then she explained that

1. I fainted at school

2. The nurse couldn't help

3. I was sent to the ER

4. I had a tumor in my chest

5. They removed it

6. SURGICALLY!!

7. BEFORE IT BECAME CANCER!

I was there for a month

Oh and uh and I almost died alone in the woods and everyone in my  community knows.
