CHAPTER THREE

AMARA POV

Today was they day I attend my first class in architecture.

I quickly rushed into the bathroom to prepare myself for the day and went on to pack my books.

I locked the dorm room door behind me and carried my feet to class.

I glimpsed through the minute I step foot into class and went on to sit in the middle row next to a girl I don't know.

"Hey" I said, whilst taking my sit.

"Hey, I am Amber and nice to meet you..." she said, and as if on que, I blabbed my name "Amara".

"Nice to meet you Amara", she smiled, and proceeded to small talk till the lecturer got in.

"Good morning to you all, Am Mr. Wells, and welcome to architecture, I hope you enjoy as much as I do" Mr. Wells said, as he took out a certain book, which am assuming he'll be teaching today.

As much as I hate to say we were a lot in this class, I felt someones eyes burning behind my back. I tilted to see who would be starring, but no one in sight. I sighed. Maybe am just overthinking.

Class went by quick, and soon classes were over.

I planned on going for ice-cream later when the sun is a bit down, with Amber, to get to know each other more.

Finally arriving at my dorm, I unlock, but still feel someones gaze towards me. I look both left and right and still nothing.

I sighed.

What a long day.

Finally entering my room, I went straight head for the shower, after I was done patting myself dry, I wore some skinny Jean's, a black coca cola shirt, and my black and white Van's.

I quickly texted Amber, to tell her where we should meet so we can walk down the street together to get some ice-cream.

"Hey Chica, been waiting on ya", Amber said, as I reached the corner of the college building.

I rolled my eyes, "hey" I said, before we started walking off campus.

Finally arriving at the ice-cream shop, we went to the counter, and they took our orders, and said they'll be ready in five minutes. Sighing. We went to one of the seating booths to wait, whilst I catch up with Amber.

Coming to think of it, shes quite dramatic, but not too hard to handle.

"Have you heard of the serial killer guy" Amber says to me, whilst waiting on our ice-creams.

I laughed unbelievably. "Seriously Amber, what makes you think I'll believe what you just said. I think its watching too many rom coms at night" I said as I rolled my eyes, whilst receiving the ice-cream from the waiter. "Thanks" I said to the waiter.

"Am serious, I've heard he takes people, kills them, and shreds their body to pieces", she says with gleamy yet worried eyes.

I growled. what am I supposed to say with the information you just said, you dont even know the guy, and your already judging him. Talking about serial killer" I said, as I muttered the last part to her.

"Whatever you say Chica, just be careful out there, cant afford to lose you" she said, as she rolled her eyes and went back into munching her ice-cream.

"Dont worry, I can handle myself I smiled back at her.

After we were done, I went back to the counter to the waiter who served us and gave him the payment for both the ice-creams.

His honey orbed piercing gaze was very intense as if studying an object in a chemistry lab. I dont even think he noticed my presence or what I said.

"Uh, hello" I waved my hands Infront of his face. Finally getting his attention, I paid and left. What a rudely waiter.

"Jeez Chica what took you so damn long" amber said as she was texting on her phone.

"Uh waiter zoned out whilst I was speaking but yeah that's just about it" I said back, as we begun to walk towards campus.

"Huh, weird" she said, before retracing back to her phone.

Finally arriving, me and Amber part ways, and stride towards my room. Opening it up, I find the window was open. The wind blowing in, sending shivers towards my body hair.

"I thought I left, when it was closed" I said to myself. I sighed and went over it to close it. Weird.

Finally going to shower, to freshen up for the next day, I wore my favorite pajamas and shot straight for the bed.

And immediately my heard hit the pillow I was gone.
