Chapter 3

Inside the tent, Jeongyeon was sitting quietly while Sana was sitting next to her.

"Jeongyeon, are you alright now?", Sana asked worriedly.

"Yeah, I'm okay now, thank you", Jeongyeon replied with a smile then Sana hold her hands.

"I hope you and Nayeon can talk about your issues later".

"Don't worry Sana, I just didn't expect her attack if I just knew I swear she's the one who's crying right now. But well I'm also wrong, maybe I'm too much for teasing her", said Jeongyeon who looks like lost in thought, Sana thought that Jeongyeon is reflecting on what happened so she went out of the tent.

When Sana came out of the tent, Jeongyeon immediately took out a device, it was a very small item called "micro cam". Jeongyeon placed it at the top of the tent where the whole tent could be seen, she not only put it in that tent but also in the tent she and Nayeon had when they were just fixing it there is also in some places around the camping site.

Once the micro cam is positioned she connected it to her wristwatch where it will automatically record what the micro cam sees and hears, it can also give a warning signal if something dangerous happens or an unknown comes near to their location.

Jeongyeon came out and observed the surroundings she saw that Jihyo, Sana, and Nayeon were still outside who seemed to be talking. They noticed her while she is approaching them, Jihyo and Sana looked at each other and stood up at the same time, Jihyo tapped Jeongyeon's shoulder who just smiled at her and nodded. Sana and Jihyo went to their tent then Jeongyeon's wristwatch turn blue meaning the person who is supposed to be monitored is safe, to be precise the other members are being monitor by her. When Jeongyeon was sure that everything was working, she sat down in front of Nayeon.

Nayeon and Jeongyeon just sat quietly, after five minutes of silence Nayeon couldn't stand it anymore.

"Jeongyeon I'm sorry", Nayeon started, Jeongyeon stood up and started mixing coffee and Nayeon's gaze just followed her.

"You don't have to apologize, I'm wrong too", Jeongyeon said and handed Nayeon the coffee while smiling and Nayeon accepted it.

"I realized that I was also wrong in teasing you too much, I'm sorry, maybe because I'm comfortable with you and you're not always mad at me I got carried away. I'm sorry Nayeon-unnie", Jeongyeon explained while staring at Nayeon, then Nayeon started crying.

Jeongyeon put down the coffee and approached Nayeon then Nayeon hugged Jeongyeon. Jeongyeon just patted her back and hugged Nayeon as well. Jeongyeon felt that people were looking at them so she tried to let go of Nayeon but Nayeon didn't want to let go, she couldn't do anything so she just let it go she looked at the people watching them peeking at their respective tent and she saw the seven members, all smiling Chaeyoung even gave him a thumbs-up. Jeongyeon smiled as well.

"How long are you guys going to peep on us?", Jeongyeon just said causing Nayeon to be surprised and let go of the hug.

"this haha *akward*, we didn't mean to peek ", Dahyun replied jokingly

"It's not that we want to peek, you guys are not talking to one another and I get curious so I peeked", Jihyo explained.

"You guys are hopeless", Jeongyeon said, together with Nayeon.

"We're okay", she added with a smile.

Nayeon couldn't speak immediately because of the speed of events, she still wanted to talk to Jeongyeon when they were alone but the members just showed up she understand that they are worried about them so she thought she would talk to Jeongyeon another time.

The night passed and the group woke up early.

Jihyo, Jeongyeon, and Nayeon prepare breakfast while Sana, Chaeyoung, and Tzuyu prepare the food, Mina, Dahyun, and Momo make a fruit salad.

"Let's play some music guys!", Nayeon suggested

"I'll play", Momo replied.

"Play our song Happy Happy", Tzuyu requested.

"Merry and Happy too, what about you Mina?", Chaeyoung replied while asking Mina. Because of the fans, Mina and Chaeyoung became close even though it was just fanservice, Chaeyoung was happy with the attention that Mina was giving, so even off-cam, she still wanted her attention.

"Anything will do * look at Jeongyeon *, what about you Jeongyeon?", Contrary to Chaeyoung's expectations of the response she received from Mina, she lost her smile.

"Anything is okay to me too", Jeongyeon answered, she noticed the changes in Chaeyoung's mood, she already knew each member's personality even the very little changes in their mood so she knew why Chaeyoung lost interest in topic.

"Is Chaeyoung having a problem?", Jeongyeon added and Chaeyoung looked at her. And Chaeyoung's smile came back because even though she felt like Mina was not paying attention to her, there was Jeongyeon who was worried about her and noticed her first.

"No Jeongyeon-unnie, did I tell you you're cool?", Chaeyoung said happily then approach Jeongyeon and link to her arm.

"What's up with you all of a sudden?", Jeongyeon replied.

"I just realized that you're always the first to notice when I'm not in the mood, or I'm sad and when I'm in trouble. I love you Jeongyoen-unnie ~", Chaeyoung explained.

"Heh ~ don't think that you're the only one because as far as I know, Jeongyeon-unnie cares for all of us", Dahyun whispered then Chaeyoung pouted and glare at Dahyun.

"Jeongyeon is a cheater", Sana commented.

"What? Aren't we just talking about what to play? How come the topic changed and became me being a cheater?", Jeongyeon answered incredulously.

Everyone laughed because of Jeongyeon's reaction and they started eating. After everyone had breakfast, they cleared the dining table and took care of each other.

Jeongyeon decided to go for a walk first so she said goodbye to Jihyo.

"Be careful, come back right away", Jihyo warned.

"Yes yes, you too", Jeongyeon replied.

In a coffee shop at the far end, there is a person with a face mask and hat with a black leather jacket, shoulder-length black hair woman gently sipping coffee, later someone sat in the opposite chair.

"It's been a while Zero", greeted the man

"Yeah, as usual, you're late." Zero complained.

"hahaha sorry something came up, anyway how is the client's daughter?", the man said seriously.

"She's safe and sound", was Zero's brief answer

"That's good, I just hope she's not suspicious to you", the man confirmed.

"Don't worry Edward, I'm treating everyone just the way I treat her", Zero said

"Woah ~ You know if I didn't know you, I will think you're innocent, I mean your image outside is like a weak girl and caring person that's totally out of Zero's character I know haha not only that you are also a member of the Nation's girl group that currently dominating the music industry damn! You're amazing Zero! ", Edward said with full of enthusiasm.

"Are you going to ask for my autograph next?", Zero glared at him.

"Sorry, okay let's talk now. I came here because the higher-ups want you to do a mission. * Pass the envelope * everything you need to know is inside check it then you can ask if there's something you don't understand ".

Zero opened the envelope and read the ones on the paper.

"So this is why they gave us a day off, the higher-ups really can pull some string ". Zero said while still looking at the papers.

"That's right, after three days your manager and staff will come and will resume recording. But since you will have a separate schedule your second manager we assign and some staff will come much earlier to inform you and take care of your schedule, some staff will assist you they're all our people except your first manager so you can ask them anything ".

"Do we also have people at Cosmopolitan?". Zero asked

"Yes, and everything is already on standby". Edward replied

"Then it won't take too much time then". Zero mumbled

"If everything went smoothly then yes, but you need to be careful. Study everything within two days before your flight and we will move according to your judgement".

"oka- wait... According to my judgement?", Zero asked because this is the first time she will act with the group and will act based on her judgment meaning to say she will act as a leader and it never happen so she was shocked for a second.

"That's right, you're going to be the leader of this mission. If you succeed expect a good reward but if you failed you're going back to zero", Edward said.

"This is going to be your last evaluation, you did a good job in the past years I saw how you grow and I know you can pass this test. Good luck Ms.Yoo I mean Zero, I'm going now". Then Edward stood up and went out.

Jeongyeon think for a second then take a deep breath soon she stand-up left some money and went out.
