Chapter 9

it's four in the morning when Jeongyeon's team arrives at the hotel where Nayeon is waiting. When she arrived, she saw that Nayeon was still awake.

"Nayeon-unnie why are you still awake?", Jeongyeon started while removing makeup. Nayeon came over and hugged her from behind.

"I'm waiting for you", Nayeon answered shortly while still hugging, because there is no camera and no one around Jeongyeon didn't avoid the hug and just let it go because they are close friends she often just avoids it when on cam, because she's not used being in close contact while being watched the same to other members unlike Sana who is good in terms of showing her affection to them even if on cam or public.

"You shouldn't have waited for me, we'll have a walk later, I hope you can rest", Jeongyeon replied, as she stood up Nayeon let her go and just followed Jeongyeon.

Jeongyeon took a her pajamas and went straight to bathhroom, Nayeon followed and stayed at the door outside.

"If I go to sleep and rest without you that's gonna be unfair", Nayeon's short answer "Have you eaten yet?", Nayeon added.

"We ate with the staff earlier at the Company they treat us well", Jeongyeon replied when she remembered that Nayeon might not have eaten yet "But I didn't eat much", she replied.

"Then I'll order something to eat", Nayeon said happily and called for room service.

The food is ready when Jeongyeon came out

"Wow ~ that was fast" Jeongyeon replied in amazement.

"This hotel is nice, isn't it? Even the people here welcomed us warmly it's like we are VIPs" Nayeon replied while eating then Jeongyeon looked at Nayeon sideway.

"Yeah, that's why the Company choose this hotel for us", Jeongyeon agreed.

After eating, the two of them went to the room, they only had one room so Nayeon was excited to enter.

"It's already late but it looks like you're still wide awake", Jeongyeon commented.

"Of course, there's only you and me here you know", Nayeon said laying her head on Jeongyeon's shoulder, she just looked at it with a cold expression that Nayeon didn't notice because she was busy talking.

"By the way I watched a news ealier and a famous young CEO was reportedly died because of one bullet in his head, and was said that no clue have found even CCTVs were hacked", Nayeon informed, Jeongyeon smile when she heard that her assignment was successful. Because Jeongyeon was happy to hear the news from Nayeon she patted her head without realizing it. Nayeon stop talking when she was patted on her head and her face blushed, she wants to look at Jeongyeon but on the other hand, she doesn't want to ruin their moment.

"Jeongyeon I have a question", Nayeon's topic changes.

"What's that? ",

"Our previous ban is over right? What do you think about going on a date?", Nayeon asked, Jeongyeon thought about it because it never entered her mind.

"I don't have any idea about dating, that.. didn't even enter my mind once", Jeongyeon replied so Nayeon changed the question.

"Then what's your ideal type?", Nayeon asked nervously.

"Hmm ~ someone pretty?", Jeongyeon replied

"A guy with a pretty face? That's it?", Nayeon confirmed

"It doesn't matter if it's a guy or a girl as long as he/she looks pretty in my eyes I guess *think * *nodded *", Jeongyeon replied again, this time Nayeon looked at Jeongyeon because she did not expect that gender would not be an issue to her.

"Does that mean you can go on a date with a girl too?" Nayeon asked again.

"Yeah, * look at Nayeon * but it's not gonna be you", Jeongyeon jokingly replied but Nayeon felt that something pierced her heart, because even if it was just a joke she knew it was still true so it hurts for her even more who has been in love with Jeongyeon for a long time, Nayeon didn't say a word and soon she started laughing.

"I'm just asking because as far as I know, I'm the cutest and prettier than anyone", Nayeon jokingly replied trying to hide the pain she was feeling.

"Hahaha stop joking around, let's go to bed ", said Jeongyeon, who covered herself with a blanket because she noticed the change in Nayeon's mood even though she was still hiding it ,Nayeon was no longer in the mood she thought she might have felt sleepy.

"Yeah, good night", was Nayeon's short answer while wearing a veil and later her tears fell. It never crossed her mind that even though she hadn't started, she would lose right away so it was a reason to cry, she didn't want to be rejected in this way so she decided to act and take the first move until Jeongyeon saw her more than a friend.
