"Now, I'm sure many of you have heard rumors about the assignment of teams." Glynda said. "Well, allow us to put an end to your confusion. Each of you will be given teammates...Today."
"These teammates will be with you for the rest of your time here at Beacon." Ozpin stepped forward continuing Glynda's words.. "So it is in your best interest to be paired with someone whom you can work well with. That being said, the first person you make eye contact with after landing will be your partner for the next 4 years."
"What?!?" Ruby exclaimed.
"After you've partnered up, make your way to the northern end of the forest. You will meet opposition along the way. Do not hesitate to destroy everything in your path, or you will die." Ozpin said, slowly taking a sip from his coffee.
"You will be monitored and graded for the duration of your initiation. But our instructors will not intervene." Ozpin explained. "Speaking of instructors. We have a special person ,or shall I say young lady, who shall be monitoring you all up close. Though I wonder where she is." Glynda sighed on the sidelines.
Suddenly a figure came running from behind the participants. Ozpin noted that it was indeed the person they were waiting for.
"Ah, Ms. Takamoto, welcome." Ozpin greeted Tsuyoku. She panted slightly as she ran to the front.
She wore her black cloak, which covered her mouth, and her brown shorts. But this time on the left side of her waist hung a pure black sword with a wooden handle.
"Morning, Oz." She responded, not sparing a glance to Ozpin.
"Tsu?!?" A shout from among the participants caused their attention to come back to the crowd in front of them.
Tsuyoku recognized the voice and turned towards the direction. "Yes, Ruby? Do you have any questions?" Tsuyoku tilted her head cluelessly.
"You're an instructor?!" Ruby exclaimed.
"Temporarily, yes." Tsuyoku nodded at Ruby's question.
"Ahem, Ms. Takamoto. Would you please continue on with the instructions?" Glynda said, clearing her throat.
"Of course, Professor." Tsu said, turning to face the participants completely.
"You will find an abandoned temple at the end of the path containing several relics. Each pair must choose one, and return to the top of the cliff." Tsu said, before being interrupted.
"Umm, Ma'am?" A blonde boy raised his hand.
"Please wait until I'm done with the explanation, Mr…" Tsuyoku stopped, asking for the boy's name.
"A-Arc, Jaune Arc." He stuttered slightly, smiling. His hand was awkwardly scratching the back of his neck.
"Then, Mr. Arc. Please wait." Tsu said, making the boy quite down in embarrassment.
"Now, we will regard that item, as well as your standing, and grade you appropriately." Tsu said, before she turned to Ozpin. "Do you have anything to say, Oz?"
"No, you did quite well, Ms. Takamoto." He smiled at Tsu.
"No need for your flattery, Oz." Tsu replied coldly. Ozpin frowned. "Now, I shall take any questions? If there is anyone besides Mr. Arc then we shall start to launch." No one raised their hand. "Then let it begin. Now Mr. Arc, what is your question?"
The sound of catapults going off caused the boy to raise his voice slightly.
"How are we supposed to land? Did you give out any parachutes?" Jaune panicked as the catapults came closer.
"No, you will be falling."
"Wait! How are we supposed to land then!?!?" He exclaimed as the catapults were about to launch him.
"Use your head to make a landing strategy, Mr. Arc." Tsuyoku turned away as soon as she said that.
"WAAAAAIT!!!!" Jaune's voice got smaller and smaller as he got further away.
"Good job, Tsu." Ozpin patted Tsuyoku on the shoulder.
Tsuyoku smacked his arm away. " I better get going…"
"Right." He nodded slowly.
Tsuyoku stepped onto the catapult. Soon she was up in the air.
"Professor?" Glynda stepped forward, seeing that Ozpin was unmoving.
"Ah, Glynda. Right, bring up the monitor please." Ozpin requested.
"Of course, sir."

Tsuyoku unsheathed her 'sword'. Planning out her landing strategy.
Her 'sword' was slightly curved at the handle. She pulled an iron ball back releasing the sound of a gun cocking.
Tsuyoku pointed the 'sword' at the floor as she approached it. The curved handle had a trigger like it was a gun of sorts. When she pulled it a large explosion went off causing her to go flying straight up into the air.
This time when she came back down she impaled her 'sword' into the tree breaking her fall.
Tsuyoku hung from her 'sword' before she twirled off it like a gymnast. Landing on both feet she dusted herself before pulling her 'sword' out of the tree
'Good thing I had my gun already loaded.' Tsuyoku thought to herself as she sheathed her sword-gun once again. 'Now, time to get to work.'
Tsuyoku dashed forwards towards the ruins. She ignored the Grimm around her, they too ignored her.
'Is this really a curse?' Tsuyoku wondered, clenching her left shoulder. But she kept going even so.
When Tsuyoku reached the ruins she saw each chess piece laid out on the stands. She sat on top of the bricks and waited for the participants to come.
A few moments passed and the sound of crunching leaves made Tsuyoku's attention to be drawn over to the side.
A group of boys had appeared. One with orange hair wearing a set of armor with an eagle it. The other with a green mohawk and one with shoulder length blue hair. Then the last had blonde hair and squinted eyes.
As they approached her the orange haired male spoke. "What are you doing here little girl?" He said, mockingly.
"What's your name?" Tsu yawned, ignoring his question.
"And why do you need to know?" He laughed.
"Well if you were listening then you would've known that I'm your temporary advisor, dumbass." Tsuyoku taunted.
"Tch, Cardin Winchester." He gave in, clicking his tongue.
"Well, Mr. Winchester," Tsuyoku gave them a small smile. ",why don't you and your friends run along now?"
The two glared at each other until Cardin turned to the others behind him. "Let's go."
She watched from behind as they each picked up a black bishop from the stand. 'Right, the first team picked the Black bishop.' She noted.
"Now, once you've picked, head up the cliff. Then your task will be complete." Tsuyoku said.
Cardin and his slaves were off to the top of the cliff. Tsuyoku sighed.
'I shouldn't have stayed here.' Tsu rubbed the back of her head, standing up.
Just as she stood up, another pair of people headed her way. Tsuyoku could see the familiar bright hair of a certain tall girl and the big distinctive bow of an emo ass girl.
"Oh, hey it's Tsu." Tsuyoku knew the voice that would annoy her all day long.
"…Hi." Blake muttered under her breath, barely audible to Tsu's ears.
"Yang, Blake…" Tsuyoku paused. "How'd you two end up together?"
"Ya little brat!" Yang elbowed Tsu in the stomach. "What's that supposed to mean!?"
Tsu groaned in pain, clenching her ribs. "…it just seems like an unexpected pair."
"Gee, is it really that surprising?" Yang rubbed the back of her head.
"You two are pretty much polar opposites. Don't you agree, Blake?" Tsuyoku asked, addressing the silent girl.
"Errr," Blake stayed silent. Almost as if she didn't want to admit it.
"Oh come on! I think it's a perfect match!" Yang exclaimed, her arm around Blake causing her to tense up.
Tsu just sighed. "Well, if you want to go choose your chess piece they're over there." Tsuyoku pointed behind her.
"Oh thanks. Come on, Blakey!" Yang dragged Blake by the hand.
'…Blakey?' The blond girl put Blake in an awkward position.
Tsuyoku watched from afar as they picked up the white knight. 'Typical Yang.' Tsu rolled her eyes.
Suddenly a loud roar drew their attention to the side. Yang looked over at Blake and Tsuyoku. Tsu walked up to them.
"Should we do something about that?" Yang asked.
"Uhhh…." Blake was looking up at the sky, but Tsu had interrupted her.
"Nah, I'm sure they're fine." Tsuyoku said.
"Aren't you supposed to be saving them?" Yang raised an eyebrow.
Tsuyoku shrugged, "Not my job." Yang sweat dropped.
"Ummm, Yang?" Blake said.
"Hmm?" Yang hummed, turning towards Blake.
"Isn't that your sister?" Blake pointed up to the sky as a flash of red was falling towards them.
"Ruby?!" Yang exclaimed, she held her arms out to catch Ruby.
But as she closed in, screaming, the same boy came crashing in from where the roar was heard. In result, the two crashed into each other, mid-air, making them fly into the nearest tree.
"What in the world…"
