Chapter 18: Dreams and Wishes

"Dammm..." Ace muttered as he slowly stood up.

"You good captain?" A man with platinum blue hair and a muscular build asked as he approached both Ace and the other guy Sanemi sent flying.

Both of them were now covered in bandages although the second guy has yet to open his eyes.

"I am...in pain..." Ace said as he tried to stand up.

"What happened? I thought you and Saber went to raid Udon Prison mine for food? " The man asked as he treated Ace.

"I don't think I remember clearly...but it was a man...no an Oni with a huge Kanabo he smacked me and Saber...and we went flying? I am sure I also saw a vivid image of Buddha staring at me" Ace continued as he held his head.

"What about Saber? is he ok?" Ace asked as he stood up.

"Stay down! and he is doing alright he won't die " The man with the mask said as he smacked Ace's head.

"We should start working on a plan then...if everyone in Kaido's army is as strong as him then we are quite screwed. " The masked man said as he checked on Saber.

"He just caught me off guard! I will show him next time we meet!" Ace exclaimed as he stretched his right arm in the air.

"ouch! ouch ouch," Ace wailed in pain as stretching his arm reopened his injuries.

"Really...how did we even survive till here?" The masked man asked himself as he went on the check his captain's injuries.

"Rosita...gather everyone we are setting sail in a few hours, it is time...we set sail again. " Sanemi said as he commanded Rosita.

"Hm? in just about a year and a half? are you sure the rest will survive captain?" Rosita asked a little concerned about the crew.

"Yeah...after all our dreams won't archive themselves now would they?" Sanemi said as he stood up from his seat and left.

"It seems that guy was the one who was captain waiting for? Portgas D. Ace with a bounty of two hundred billion berries he is impressive...but to catch captain's attention like this..." Rosita muttered as she stared at Ace's bounty.

"Nevermind...captain will tell me when he wants anyways. " With that Rosita stood up to gather the rest of the crew to prepare and leave the place.

'The sea is going to be chaotic again...I guess I should start my part as well' Sanemi thought as a card appeared between his index and middle finger.

'It would be nice to have this back...' Sanemi thought as the card slowly dissipated in blue particles which merged with Sanemi's body as a soft glow surrounded him for a second.

'Now then...it is time...to see what this world has for me' Sanemi thought as a grin made its way on his face.

A giant ship covered from head to toe in black sailed down the waterfall as many others followed it. The ship soared through the waterfall as the crew screamed for their life.

Sanemi stood in the middle with a huge grin as the crew around him grew more chaotic by the second. His attire had changed since their departure. He now no longer had his Obi and his cape now had the symbol of Oni Pirates branded in gold.

"Captain really likes to see us on our way to death doesn't he?" Otto said as he saw the crew around him in chaos.

"I think this is how he shows his love and his belief in us" Mary replied as she calmly enjoyed the slide down the waterfall.

"I think he just enjoys torturing people he knows and lives off their pain," Duvalin said as he held on a ledge.

"You know I kinda support Duvalin's theory for this one," Otto said as he turned his gaze towards a grinning Sanemi.

"So captain where are we headed first?" Rosita asked as she approached Sanemi.

"We are going look for the poneglyphs that record the history of the era of Gods for that our destinations will include Mary Geoise and Elbaf I am sure both of them have a poneglyph related to that era...other than that we are going to just wing it" Sanemi replied without turning around or removing his grin.

"Elbaf? the country of Giants? there is little to no information about that country but allegedly the Adam tree grows there...considering the odds our best shot at locating it would be the Giant Warrior Pirates" Rosita said as she cupped her chin in a thinking position.

"Indeed...while we may not know much about it but I do know someone who has the location to Elbaf. " Sanemi said as his eye narrowed.

"Really? someone who knows about the fabled island of Giants" Adam said as he joined in.

"Indeed...her name is...Charlotte Linlin or also known as Big Mom" Sanemi informed he clenched his fist.

"I see so we are going to challenge another Yonko eh? " Otto asked with a smirk.

"Indeed...but not necessarily...we can always offer Otto or Duvalin as a marriage partner for one of her daughters" Sanemi replied.

"That would indeed be quite spectacular" Rosita replied in agreement.

"Hold up! I Object!" Otto yelled as his ears got the word for his supposed marriage.

"Don't worry at worst it would be a pink whale you will have to marry" Adam said as he patted Otto's shoulder.

"Yosha Charletto Otto it is" Sanemi declared as everyone congratulated Otto for his future marriage.

"By the way captain what happened to the Daisuki you had?" Duvalin asked as he noticed Sanemi's missing attire.

"The Daisuki? oh just gave it into safer hands," Sanemi replied as the grin on his face widened.

The sun raised signaling a new day in Wano as people in Onigashima started their drinking spree. Today was a rather quiet one, perhaps everyone was missing their new friends in the Oni Pirates but everyone was still celebrating.

Yamato opened his eyes as they gleamed a little. He stretched his arms a little as he got ready for the day. After completing his daily necessities Yamato stood in front of his closet as he pulled out a set of garments.

A white top with a wave-like design in blue and crimson hakama pants and a pair of wooden sandals. A single item remained in his hands. A rather large purple and white daisuki. He held it in his hands as his memories regarding it came to his mind.

----[Flashback/Memory Thingy]----

"Oi Yamato come here for a moment," Sanemi said as he called out to his brother.

"brother? anything you need?" Yamato asked as he approached Sanemi in a little confusion.

"Follow me for a second will ya," Sanemi said as he did a follow-me gesture with his fingers. Seeing nothing wrong with it Yamato just followed behind Sanemi.

Both of them entered Sanemi's room as Yamato gazed around Sanemi opened his closet and pulled out his blue and white-colored daisuki.

"Yamato do you still dream of becoming the next Oden?" Sanemi asked as he held the garment in his hands.

"Yes. I will be the next Oden and open the gates of Wano" Yamato proudly declared as he crossed his arms under his chest.

"You really have the weirdest dream out there...a dream to become someone else...well not much that I can say about it myself," Sanemi said as he extended his hand with the garment towards Yamato.

"Here, I heard that Oden liked to wear one himself perhaps it would suit you better," Sanemi said as he handed Yamato his daisuki.

Yamato's eyes gleamed with joy as he held the daisuki in his hands. He was extremely happy after all this was the first time anyone had acknowledged his dream.

"Taking care of the sibling no matter whether they are right or wrong is what a big brother's job is," Sanemi said as he patted Yamato's head with a soft smile.

----[Fashback Over]----

Yamato firmly held the daisuki as his brother's words still lingered in his head. He slowly fastened the daisuki around him in a typical method he had seen Sanemi do it.

He slowly approached the mirror as he silently appreciated the gift his brother gave him. While it may not worth much but to him it meant a lot.

'I will catch up to you brother' Yamato told himself as he let out a wide grin.

"Greeting IM-sama I hope your day is going excellent," One of the five men bowing down in front of the throne said in a polite voice.

"It was...for the time, till I realized that it has been nine years...nine years yet I still don't see Sanemi the Crimson Oni in shackles...It seems that over the years you have grown senile and useless...perhaps it is time I get more competent elders" IM replied in a monotone voice as his crimson eyes glared towards the elders who were still bowing.

"We apologize for our incompetence, but this time I will go there to personally bring him" The elder with a scar on his head replied.

"Over eight centuries have passed since I have had to wait for my wish to be delayed...I have grown past to the point of having him...I want you to this time destroy his moral compass...kill a friend or two, beat him till he is unrecognizable, I do not care but I do not wish to hear another failure" IM replied as the room was filled with thick bloodthirst. The five elders quaked a little as they raised their heads to see IM gone from his throne.

"I have never seen IM-sama so mad other than having to talk about that subject, regardless we must do as he wishes, Fulamese do not fail under any circumstances and if you do...then do not return" The elder with blonde hair commanded as he left followed by the other elders.

"I already know...Sanemi...I will fulfill my duty" Fulamese muttered as he stood up and left.

Also if you may have noticed Tobi has not yet recovered so the chapter may seem weird as it was written over the course of 3 days so Tobi apologizes for that
