Just as Caxon was about to start his retreat he noticed Lucian who was had just turned to look at the centipede who was currently out flanking him and what Caxon saw surprised him.


On Lucians face was a small smile as he drove his shield into the ground and gripped his sword with both hands.


This caused Caxon to stop for a moment as he wondered what the smile was for. It didn't seem like a smile with evil intent but the situation seemed to be going completely out of control for Lucian so there should be no reason for him to smile.


At this moment the ground around Lucian started to crack under his feet. Suddenly Lucian turned into a flash as he raced towards the centipede at an incredible speed. Lucian was barely able to see Lucian until the man had jumped and was in the air falling towards the monster with his sword held above his head.
