Before the monstrous spider could fully recover from Caxon's attack Will rushed at it with his sword already coated in mana. Sensing the danger, the front two spear like legs of the spider clashed with the sword.

Will was forced back by the spider's strength but since it had lost much of its balance its bulbous body contently fell to the ground as it kept itself from toppling over. Caxon created spike to attack the spider from below as Will made sure to continue his attack from close range.

The beast was quickly being overwhelmed as it could not defend again both attacks and was forced to reinforce its body and simply receive Caxon's nonlife threatening attacks while blocking Will's sword.
