Journey
"let's move out, all the young men come on and hurry up start moving your ***** toward the main gate of this city, if you want to complain then go back to your mommy we don't want you on this journey." A loud shout startled Adam out of his thinking as he looked toward the speaker of the loving voice and smiled, given he was already on the foot and started walking toward the entrance of the city with all the people surrounding them the main 2 vehicles. The formation by which they were moving is moreover more like spartex one from his previous life, by the looks of it one would be able to reduce that the car and the truck are carrying something valuable which is needed to be protected by all the surrounding trainers. Adam's mind simultaneously collected all the information about the partners by his side for the journey. Since it was going to be a long journey he knew that he would be needing help from the other to get past this quest.
On the right side of this seems to be a proud guy from his generation who was not even looking at others, on the other side what the trainer who was a little elder than him, but seemingly have the ductile nature as he was looking at everyone with a frowning smile. Given the condition and all the things that were not clear to him, Adam selected to hide all his strong cards for the time being and that was the reason why all the monsters were residing inside his Ms balls. Not only that the people surrounding the car and the truck were looking to and fro thinking of making an impression on VIPs inside the car. 'Hmm! The guys which are trying to get the recognition of the VIP seems to be newbies, other than that those who are collectively moving and had already formed a group seems to be veteran in this field.'
'It would be easy for me to group up with those veterans, but I am not sure of their nature so I won't take the risk of joining them, while those newbie seems to be young and will be easy to gain their recognition as a leader.' Adam thought and planned carefully at the task. It was not that he was a scheming type but he had been dealing with them so much that his habit of seeing through them is very deep and versatile. Clearing his mind, Adam started picking up the pace since the morning sun was growing stronger and they had much distance to cover, while the day in this world have more hours than the previous world, Adam was not sure about it but the time difference was sure huge.
As they walked out of the gate of the city, Adam and the rest of the group was able to see the forest which was around 15 kilometers away from them but from such a high site one was not able to see the end of it at all, the city is usually located at the top of the land do to which they are able to see the tides of the monster if were to break out in around the city perimeter. One had to know that monster tide is one of the greatest threats in this world and is there a reason why so many precautions should be taken against it, to just survive in this world.
"A rat tide can be possible in the southern road and we are lucky to follow this group you know." A man in his 18th or 19th who was walking in front of Adam spoke as he looked at the guy by his side. "Who knows, maybe there is a chance for us to come across bee drill nest and would have to face them like this, you should already be aware of the fact that the eastern side route always had casualties around one out of 10 times in this road." A slightly knowledgeable man with broad muscles and an experienced look spoke to them as he looked at the forest with vigilance deep within his eyes.

A monster covered in black visible energy circulating around it came out from nowhere, "Demonoid Monster, huh!" While all the other young trainer already called out their monster for a fight except Adam. For Adam it was common sense that even if they were to take out their monster, there was no way at all for them to defeat a Demonoid like this at all, only the trainer on the veteran side would be able to fight with it on the full power scale. Then Adam sensed 5 monsters from the back and was advancing silently, looking around he found no one was able to sense them at all, at which he was a little puzzled. After training for a year in his childhood Adam was able to sense around 10 to 20 meters distance with even closed eyes with the help of soul resonance. It was an easy usage of the soul where one had to create waves after waves and sent out a thin layer of waves from the earth transmitting around the person as a central point. By the looks of it, no one was able to use it except the captain of the team from the veteran side, unfortunately for him, he was not able to sense his soul wave at all due to soul density Adam would not let it probe his soul waves.
Adam decided to ignore it as he called out Charles, just in a case where they would need it he would be able to act properly and line in according to the order of the senior. After all, was his mission also save the people inside the car and those monsters in the truck. Adam was quite interested in the fight of the captain from the senior group and that Demonoid monster which has appeared suddenly in front of them. Charles was also being aware of the enemy from behind which was told him by his master order, he had been keeping an eye on both sides looking sideways since a fight like this is not easy to see in this area.
Closing his eyes and waiting for the enemy from the behind act, since he saw a little movement from that side which might not be easy to see but he also looked at him confirming his doubts. Charles was excited to let his Feng smash some monster since he wanted to see how far he had grown from that training when he heard "In a battle, state of mind play an important role, Charles you have to maintain a good spirit before any fight and currently you need a serene mind to act faster, so I hope you are mentally prepared about it."
At that the Demonoid monster acted while the enemy from behind who seems to be unknown also started to get agitated by the fight, usually, Demonoid acts alone and in this case, Adam was sure that some common monsters are using the cover Demonoid monster and gain some goods from the group. They had no matter what was the case for Adam, you only need to make sure of one thing that was to protect the car and the truck from the enemy over his back. That was the reason why Charles was the one covering his back and Adam had whatsoever no problem handling those few monsters alone by himself.
"Idiots look behind guard the car." The captain suddenly sensed something in the back and shouted where Adam was already on the act, Group of 4 bee monsters had appeared as they stung in the direction of the car, but before they could reach an explosion happened in front of them knocking them down, a lizard type fire monster fist struck the one who sent flying. The Captain's sound made everyone look back and attack the group of bee monsters. Where seeing them so close, they knew they were late but suddenly an ember burst in front of the group of Bee monsters in shadow, knocking them down.
While fire-lizard did not stop, like the fist of his sent one down instantly. The other three used stung force to move on the Charles, where Charles stood their unmoving causing other trainers behind feel smug over Adam carelessness since he was looking at the front without giving a thought to what was going behind him. <
Charles looked at them once and knew they were done, while turning back he rushed by Adam's side, who was still standing in the same position looking at Captain of the Senior group, who chuckled and looked at Adam for once carefully. 'At least, all of them are not idiots huh!'
"Good," Captain spoke, as he looked at the monster and patted Taur head while he was standing by its side, Taur shouted his guts as he was provoking the enemy to act and that was the reason Demonoid did not move afraid of counter moves and was the reason why he fell for the trap since Taur had already performed sword dance on him, which was a move to increase one strength and speed simultaneously.
This time after the sword dance, Taur moved and dashed the speed was not slow at all, where Adam had a hard time keeping up with that speed, Adam was shocked as he slanted his eyes and started observing both of them silently. Apparently, the Demonoid Monster Jumped with a bang, leaving a creature on the land, Taur has both power and speed but he does not have the ability to deal with those who are flying are jumping high above. Taur was also very aware of his weakness so he had already prepared for such a situation, at which he let out a roar causing the Demonoid monster to panic and fall short on the jump.
Simultaneously Taur who had gathered a lot of momentum while running smashed his head on the body of the Demonoid monster sending it flying, but it was at that moment where Taur's defense was the biggest big rocks come hurtling toward it smashing on the side of the Taur.
