The first day of class

"...up." A familiar voice said.

I opened my eyes as much as I could, it was seven in the morning and Yoshikazu was standing near my bed.

"Wake up already." He repeated himself annoyed.

"Uhhh...it's already another day?" I asked with a half-asleep expression on my face.

"Yeah, you should wake up if you don't want to arrive late for class." Yoshikazu advised me while dressing up in a uniform.

"How come you have a uniform?" I inquired confused.

"They arrived today, that's how I woke up before you, the student council president was giving out uniforms to all of the students today, I left yours on your bed." My roommate said arranging his hair.

I rubbed my eyes and it took me about two minutes to actually escape from that foggy sight, my uniform was on my bed. I immediately raised from my bed and went to the bathroom to brush my teeth and get ready for class.

Once I opened the door and walked into the bathroom I looked in the mirror, I was a mess.

"Ugh." I grumbled after seeing my hair in the mirror.

"Yoshikazu?!" I exclaimed stressed.

"Y-Yes? Did something happen?" He replied confused.

"Do you have a comb? My hair is a mess!" I whined.

"Oh, yeah, I'll let you borrow it since your hair is a mess..." Yoshikazu said holding himself from laughing.

"Well, you aren't wrong..." I mumbled embarrassed.

After that, I thanked him for letting me borrow his comb. I got ready and then dressed up. This time I was again in front of my mirror arranging my hair, once I was done I got out of the bathroom and headed out of the dorm with Yoshikazu.

"Ehh, so many people..." I whined to Yoshikazu.

"Haha, so crowded places aren't exactly your thing?" He asked.

"Yeah, just being near a large number of people I don't know exhausts me a lot." I replied stressfully and then slapped my face to wake up.

"Well, sometimes even I get tired of it." Yoshikazu mentioned.

Yoshikazu surprised me by saying that even he has trouble dealing with crowds at times, he seems like the type of guy who can manage his emotions pretty easily.

"Then, I guess no one is perfect." I added sighing.

"Yes, you should remember that. No one is truly perfect even though we usually spend a lot of our time to achieve perfection we rarely achieve it and even when we do, it still isn't perfect." He pointed out.

"Mhm, indeed, but at least trying to reach perfection has a good impact on you, right? I mean, you may feel down at times because you didn't succeed in achieving it but you still did great, all this chase to reach perfection can be really helpful and give you a better impression of yourself in the end, am I right?" I questioned Yoshikazu.

"You do have a point, it seems like you acknowledge it as a double sword but one that can be easily handled the more you use it, right?" Yoshikazu implied.

"Exactly, time is the best resource you have, you just need to do your best at handling it." I confirmed Yoshikazu's statement.

"Hmm, did I mention yet that I am very happy to have you as my roommate?" He asked smiling and scratching his head.

"Haha, I think you didn't, you flatter me." I answered.

"May I ask why, though?" I inquired Yoshikazu.

"Well, it seems that you are very thoughtful and a deep thinker, it's kind of rare to find such people. More than that, you also give off a calming aura, may I ask if we can be buddies?" He replied bluntly.

"Sure, you seem to be a great guy as well!" I said and bumped fists with Yoshikazu.

"Nice! Oh! By the way, are we in the same class?" He asked full of curiosity.

"As far as I know I am in class B, what about you?" I replied touching my chin.

"I am in class B as well!" Yoshikazu shouted full of joy.

"That surely is nice, I won't be a loner all the time." I said embarrassed.

"Hah! Good one! Those people who ignore you just don't see your worth, you shouldn't care much about them, you know?" He told me.

"Yeah, I know that already, it's just that it's a pain to always be alone, haha!" I replied scratching my head.

"Then that's good, make sure to be confident!" Yoshikazu advised me yet again.

"Got it." I said smiling knowing that I have a friend who'll be around me.

Soon enough, we arrived in class and the first day wasn't anything special since it was mainly the teachers presenting themselves and announcing what we will do throughout the year.

"Dismissed!" Announced the female teacher which we had our last class with.

"Man, I am so tired!" Yoshikazu whined as we went to our school's cafeteria to eat lunch.

'Fudo.' A voice rang into my head, it was Fumiko.

Since Fumiko used this type of communication magic it meant that she was pretty close to where I was, the area in which such a spell can be used is pretty impressive, it has about a 15 kilometers area and it is really helpful at times.

'Yes?' I asked Fumiko using the same type of magic.

'You finally replied! It took me some time to reach out to you, finally!' Fumiko exclaimed relieved.

'Oh, I see. Anyway, is there anything I can help you with?' I replied happily since hearing her voice was enough o lift my mood.

'Not really, wanna meet up though?' Fumiko suggested.

'Sure.' I confirmed.

'Ok, I'll see you in the location that I sent to you through magic, make sure to be there!' She announced in a joyful tone.

'Alright, see you soon.' I told Fumiko.

I left Yoshikazu and excused myself by saying that I have a stomachache and that I would meet up with him soon.

After leaving all the crowded places I got to an area full of trees and I saw Fumiko waiting for me on the branch of a tree.

"It took you some time, huh?" She welcomed me with a warm voice.
